The Cyberpunk 2077 vehicles range from rickety to ultra-modern: Our Guide reveals which missions will get you a new vehicle for free and which cars or bikes you can buy from fixers.
- Blue or different-colored bars with a double arrow symbol include texts and sometimes tables, which are folded for clarity. Click or tap on the bars to open them. When using mobile devices, slide your finger to the left to fully view the tables.
This Cyberpunk 2077 Guide will teach you the following:
- Which vehicles you can obtain for free by completing missions
- what types of cars and motorcycles exist and how much they cost
- which fixer will provide you with which vehicles and what street cred level they require
All you need to know about Vehicles
Considering how sprawling Night City’s districts are, you won’t get very far without a vehicle: you’ll only unlock fast travel terminals once you’ve passed near them for the first time. In this section, we will answer all questions regarding vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077.
- By buying all the vehicles offered by Fixers (for a total of €$1,722,000), you will unlock the trophy “Autojock”. This requires the maximum Street Cred level of 50, as the final sales gig is only unlocked at level 50. Read more about achievements and trophies in our Achievement Guide.
How do I get Vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077?
Basically, there are three options: Buying, stealing or receiving them as gifts. The most expensive method is to purchase vehicles offered by the various fixers. Follow the respective sales job to the location of the vehicle, pay the purchase fee, and hop in.
Purchased vehicles appear in the “Call Vehicle” selection menu unless they are standing in the immediate vicinity of V. If you are still lacking the cash for the vehicle of your dreams, you can find some useful tips on how to fill up your bank account in our Money Earning Guide.
You can steal a parked vehicle by cracking the door lock. Usually, this requires a certain Attribute Level in Technical Ability – assign more Attribute Points (see the Skill Guide for more information) if you want to be able to jailbreak cars more often. Hijacking a moving vehicle with a passenger inside, depends on V’s Body though, since you need to intimidate the driver into handing over the car to you. The dearer the car, the higher the requirements for the requested Attributes.
Stolen vehicles cannot be called via the “Call Vehicle” menu and disappear from the game world if you move away from them. The police may also be on your tail after a theft – fleeing is the only option in this case.
The cheapest way to obtain a vehicle is by completing missions: Some vehicles can be earned just by completing a certain mission. Others require you to make a certain decision or do something specific to receive the vehicle. You can collect two cars just by visiting a certain location – it couldn’t be any cheaper!
How do I call Personal Vehicles?
Place yourself along a road and briefly press the necessary key (keyboard – V; controller – right arrow). If V owns only one vehicle, it will automatically drive up to you. The distance to the vehicle is displayed on the left side next to the Minimap. If you have already acquired several vehicles, hold down the corresponding key until the selection menu pops up. Select the desired car or bike and request it. You could even summon all of your vehicles, as long as there is enough space in the area.
- You should not call a car on roads where traffic is already congested. Go to a less congested side street or a parking lot. The easier you make it for the AI to deliver your vehicle to you, the sooner you’ll be driving on the road.
What can I do while driving and what Camera Perspectives can I choose?
Press R (keypad) or R1/RB (Controller) briefly while driving to switch on the radio in your personal vehicle to display the radio station selection. Select a radio station and confirm the selection to listen to that station as your preferred standard station. When the music does not please you any longer, just repeat the procedure, and select a new radio station.
You can choose between two perspectives: First Person and Third Person perspective. While the driving experience is a bit more realistic in the first-person perspective, as the field of vision is limited to what the character can see, third-person allows you to avoid significantly more accidents. Depending on the field of view, cars like to get stuck on street corners, bollards or pedestrians – this just causes unnecessary trouble with the NCPD.
During rides within missions in which V sits in the passenger seat, attacks on the vehicle may occur. Draw a weapon with ALT (PC) / Triangle/ Y (Controller) and aim at either the driver or the engine of the hostile vehicle to cause an accident or an explosion as quickly as possible.
V leans out of the window while shooting and can be hit. Hold down mouse wheel (PC) / triangle / Y (controller) to change the weapon and tap ALT (PC) / Y / triangle (controller) twice to get V back into the car. Shooting is done as usual with the left mouse button / R2 / RT. Some mission rides can be abbreviated with C (PC) / Circle / B (Controller) after the scripted conversations have ended.
Can I Tune or Customize Vehicles?
So far (version 1.05) it is not possible to paint or customize Vs vehicles in any way. We’ll update this guide if this feature will be added in an upcoming update.
How do I Repair my Car?
When your vehicle has been damaged through crazy driving or gunfire, drive to the next Fast Travel Dataterm and travel to another location in Night City. Call the vehicle again and it will be automatically repaired. Since there doesn’t seem to be any repair service or car mechanic garages in the city, this instant repair won’t cost you a single dime.
Do I have a Garage for my Vehicles?
So far (version 1.5) there is no garage where V could admire their vehicles. The only vehicle overview you get is through the “Call Vehicle” selection menu (keyboard – V; controller – right arrow). It is possible to enter the garage in Megabuilding H10 – the place where V lives – after the side mission “Human Nature”, but you won’t find any of your vehicles parked there.
Can I buy or operate Flying Cars (AVs)?
As of yet, it is not possible to buy AVs. V uses an AV as a passenger in the Corporate Life Path and in three different game endings.
Cyberpunk 2077 Vehicle Overview
We have listed all the cars and bikes available through missions or in sales in the following two tables. In addition to the name and the technical details such as drive, horsepower, and weight, we have also listed the retail prices, the necessary street cred level to receive the sales job and the fixer who gives the job for cars that can be bought in the table. We also list the district in which the job is located.
In the case of vehicles that can be obtained through missions, we will mention the mission and potential requirements – we will not go into more detail here, to avoid spoiling too much. However, in the section “Free vehicles and how to get them,” it is not possible to go without spoilers, as we describe in detail what has to be done to get the respective vehicle.

Free vehicles and how to get them
If you are not eager to get the “Autojock” achievement and prefer to save your money, you can also collect plenty of cars and bikes by completing missions, making the right decisions during missions, and visiting certain locations. In this section, we will focus on these free vehicles and how they are obtained.
- This guide section explains exactly what decisions you have to make and how to complete certain missions that will reward you with a vehicle at the end. Stay away from this section if you don’t want the story or side missions to be spoiled for you!
1. Archer Hella EC-D 1360
After completing the main mission “Playing for Time” at the beginning of Act 2, V will receive an automatic notification that their car is waiting in the garage to be picked up. Follow the marker from V’s apartment to the elevator, enter the underground garage, and get into the vehicle, which will be rammed by a Delamain cab shortly after.
After leaving the damaged car, V receives an invitation from the Delamain headquarters along with the follow-up quest “Tune Up”. Eight hours later (in-game) you will receive the repaired car back. There is no way to skip this time – in the meantime, find another vehicle or complete the side mission “Heroes”.
2. Arch Nazaré “Itsumade”
This bike can be obtained by V in the side mission “The Highwayman” (unlocked after the main mission “The Ride”): Take the Fast Travel Dataterm “Rancho Coronado East” and run up the road towards the dam. Keep to the left at the end. There is a building with a horse painting next to a closed roll-up garage door.
Open it and take a look at the motorcycle leaning against the wall and the message on the laptop. When you close the laptop, you will find a picture of a couple – this will start the mission. Now take the Fast Travel Dataterm to “Cherry Blossom Market”, and run towards the bridge leading to Kabuki. The James you are looking for is sitting on one of the blue park benches by the tree near the bridge. Look at the bench where Tyger Claw James is sitting to find the number sequence 0214 and show him the picture.
After that, travel to “The Glen North” via Fast Travel Dataterm, and from there go to the drop-off location (on the map: to the right of the Fast Travel Dataterm) next to a Metro station exit. Scan the area for bloodstains on the ground, and follow them to a side alley where Josie’s body is hidden behind a dumpster.
Read the shard beside her and travel to the Fast Travel Dataterm “All Foods Plant”. You will see the horse painting on the wall to the right, next to several containers and a closed rolling gate. The code “0214” will open the gate. Pick up the stolen motorcycle. Confront James (who is still sitting on the bench next to the tree) with your knowledge to complete the mission.
3. Arch Nazaré (Special Skin)
Due to a decision towards the end of the main mission “The Heist”, you have two ways to get the Arch Nazaré with a special skin:
Either you choose the family when asked to whom the body should be given. After completing the main mission “Playing for Time” you will receive a call from Mamá Welles inviting you to an orrenda for Jackie. At the end of the party, Mamá Welles offers V Jackie’s motorcycle – but you’ll get it only if you accept the keys to the Arch. If you refuse, there is no chance to get Jackie’s bike after “Heroes”.
Or you decide to send the corpse to Ripperdoc Viktor in the “”The Heist” mission. You’ll receive the keys after Mamá Welles’ phone call in a package in front of V’s apartment door. This is the faster way, but it deprives you of one of the most beautiful and profound side missions of the game.
4. Brennan Apollo (Nomad)
If you want to get this motorcycle, which comes in the somewhat unique look of the nomadic Aldecaldo tribe, you have to complete the main mission “Life during Wartime”. After the final conversation with Panam and the other nomads, you’ll be richer by one more motorcycle.
5. Mizutani Shion “Coyote”
In case you don’t want to spend money on the Shion with blue doors, you can still get the car with red doors by making the right decisions during the Panam story. The story starts with the side mission “Riders on the Storm”, which is unlocked after completing the main mission “Ghost Town”.
Panam invites you to the Aldecaldo camp in the subsequent side mission “With a little Help from my Friends”, where she argues with Saul about her risky plan to steal a Basilisk tank. Follow Panam and Mitch to the meeting with the veterans, but refuse to participate in this plan during the meeting. Once Panam and her supporters have left, go to the truck with the satellite dish on the roof and snitch Panam’s tank plans to Saul.
Saul thanks you and asks you to wait for a message. One in-game day later, Panam calls you in a rage and accuses you of betrayal. After this phone call, Saul sends the promised message and tells you that a parting gift is waiting at the Sunset Motel. Collect the Mizutani Shion “Coyote” in the garage over there.
Attention: the decision you make will block both the possibility of a romance (as a male V) with Panam, and a potential end of the game since the side missions around Panam will come to an end and you won’t get another chance to help Panam and the Aldecaldos.
- If Panam does not call after the second in-game day, save the game and restart it. In our case, the game was bugged after the conversation with Saul, so the call did not trigger and there was no mission progress.
6. Porsche 911 II (930) Turbo
You’ll get Johnny Silverhand’s iconic vehicle during the side mission “Chippin’ In”, if you choose to let Grayson live. In return, he’ll give you the access card to a cargo container that contains the fancy car.
However, this path only opens up if you agree to give V’s body to Johnny for a while in the last section of the main mission “Tapeworm”. Apart from choosing Grayson, there is no other way to get the Porsche in the game.
The Porsche 911 II Turbo may not count for the trophy “Breathtaking” (see Achievement Guide), for which you collect Johnny’s former clothes – but the authentic Johnny style is only really complete if you also cruise around Night City in his car!
7. Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech
You can get the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech in the side mission “Sex on Wheels”, but it requires completing the retrieval mission “Life’s Work” in The Glen (Heywood). Depending on how your “Life’s Work” turns out, you will receive a message three days after completing it in Rancho Coronado.
Once you’ve delivered the car to Jake, he’ll send you to a specific location, where you just have to hop into the car to take possession of it. If Jake went away empty-handed in “Life’s Work”, the fixer Muamar “El Capitan” Reyes will contact you and send you to investigate suspicious activities at a garage. There you’ll have to deal with four enemies, which you’ll have to either eliminate or distract so you can grab the car.
8. Rayfield Caliburn
The fanciest free vehicle can be found in a mine in the Badlands. Those who completed the optional objective to kill Nash during the main mission “Ghost Town” already know the location. The mine is located northwest of the settlement around the “Rocky Ridge” Fast Travel Dataterm.
Leave the settlement on the road to the northwest and turn left at the first opportunity. Drive through the tunnel until you reach an illuminated and opened blue container. Grab the shard from the container and enter the car to add it to V’s collection.
9. Thorton Colby CX410 Butte
Search the corpse near the “Desert Film ST” Fast Travel Dataterm. If you don’t have the travel point unlocked yet, take the “Rocky Ridge” Fast Travel Dataterm and follow the road to the northeast.
Climb into the vehicle afterwards – and it’s already part of your collection!
10. Thorton Galena “Rattler”
The side mission “These Boots are Made for walkin'” is only available to V as a Nomad* and after completing the main mission “Ghost Town”. Check your messages: If you receive a message that the position indicator of V’s previous car has responded, you will receive a destination marker.
V’s former car is found at the specified location. Scan it, open the hood, and check the engine. After talking to the new owner of the car, you will decide whether to claim ownership rights to the car or not. After that, there is no other possibility to get this special vehicle.
11. Thorton Mackinaw “Beast” & Quadra Type-66 “Cthulhu”
You will have to take part in the racing side missions “The Beast in me” to get this rather unique vehicle from bartender Claire from the “Afterlife”. The side mission is unlocked after completing the main mission “Double Life”.
Complete a total of three races (Downtown, Badlands, Santo Domingo) to qualify for the final race. Leave the track the moment Sampson leaves, and Claire will gift you the “Beast” upon completion of the mission.
V can secure Sampson’s car through diplomacy as a special bonus: talk Claire out of her thirst for revenge against Sampson after the race in Santo Domingo. Afterward, follow Sampson into the final race and tell Claire you want to hear out Sampson when she is about to kill him.
Insist on listening to Sampson’s opinion in every subsequent dialogue decision to change Claire’s mind eventually. If you succeed in saving Sampson’s life, he will gift you his car, the Quadra Type-66 “Cthulhu”. Alternatively, you can buy the car for 76.000 €$ in Watson (probably from Regina Jones).
12. Villefort Alvarado V4FC 580 “Vato”
After completing the main mission “The Rescue”, the side mission “Beat on the Brat” with Coach Fred in the Megabuilding H10 (Atrium) will be unlocked. V will encounter Fred on the way to the mission “The Ride”.
Defeat the training bot to prove your fighting skills. Next, Fred will give you the first fighting gig. You will receive the Villefort when you defeat César, the champion of “The Glen”. However, you can only complete this fight after the main mission “Playing for Time”. As soon as César hits the ground, you can decide whether you want his car, his money, or both. César will attend the final fight as a spectator if you choose just the car.
13. Villefort Cortes Delamain No.21
The fancy Delamain cab graces V’s car collection once you’ve completed the quest series centered around Delamain and his wacky AI offshoots.
This story starts with “Human Nature” (in which you get the Archer Hella EC-D 1360) and is continued through “Tune Up” and seven “Epistrophy” side missions. The whole thing finally culminates in “Don’t lose your Mind”. Once this side mission is finished, your collection of vehicles will be enriched with the high-security cab.
Special bonus: When V rides the Delamain cab, conversations with the Delamain AI about current topics in V’s story or Delamain’s worldview become available. Which questions Delamain asks and which topics the AI prefers is influenced by the decision at the end of “Don’t lose your Mind”.
