In July 2025, Beat Saber returns to the top of the PS VR2 charts — despite its announced end of support. Newcomer Gorn 2 also makes a strong debut, while Skydance’s Behemoth drops sharply after its June success.

Unlike last month, when Skydance’s Behemoth held the top spot in both Europe and North America, July sees the VR classic Beat Saber once again dominating the PlayStation VR2 download charts. In the U.S., Gorn 2 lands in second place. The sequel to the brutal gladiator game impresses with over-the-top melee combat and dark humor. Arken Age takes third place.

In Europe, Beat Saber also holds onto first place, followed by Metro Awakening, which climbs one spot. Alien: Rogue Incursion VR takes third. The action-heavy first-person shooter from the iconic Alien franchise is set to launch for PlayStation 5 later this fall.

Beat Saber’s comeback shows that established titles with addictive gameplay mechanics remain in demand long-term — even if the developers end support for the platform. No new DLCs will be released for Beat Saber on PSVR or PS VR2, and the multiplayer feature will be shut down on January 21, 2026.
