The Xbox Game Pass is once again bringing fresh variety to console, cloud, and PC this September. From indie favorites to big blockbusters.

This month’s Xbox Game Pass lineup focuses heavily on exciting indie titles and challenging puzzle games – including some day-one releases. We’ve put together the full list of September’s games and highlight the ones you definitely shouldn’t miss.

By now, more games have been announced to launch in the middle of the month. One major highlight among them: the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 beta.

I Am Your Beast (Cloud, Console, PC)

This uncompromising revenge thriller throws you into the North American wilderness. Dangerous enemies are hunting you – but you strike back, using their gear and disappearing into the shadow system of your tunnels. A dynamic FPS for those who love tension and tactics. Available now in Game Pass.

Nine Sols (Xbox Series X|S) – from September 3

This atmospheric 2D action-platformer lets you explore a realm inspired by Asian mythology. Hand-drawn worlds, Sekiro-style combat, and a gripping story await as you face the nine powerful rulers of the land.

Hollow Knight: Silksong (Cloud, Console, PC) – from September 4

The wait is finally over – the highly anticipated action-adventure Hollow Knight: Silksong launches directly in Game Pass. Join Hornet on her journey through a mysterious world ruled by silk and song. Metroidvania gameplay at its best for fans of exploration and challenge.

Cataclismo (PC) – from September 4

PAW Patrol World (Cloud, Console, PC) – from September 10

  • EA Sports NHL 26 (EA Play Trial): Starting September 5, Game Pass Ultimate members can test their skills on the ice for ten hours.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 – Beta starting October 2

The shooter series takes its multiplayer to the next stage, and you can jump in ahead of launch. The early access beta brings new 6v6 maps, an expanded omni-movement system, and even more realistic visuals. Players who pre-ordered or have Game Pass access can dive in starting October 2. Test classes, try out new weapons, and experience the most intense Black Ops yet.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III – September 17

Captain Price and Task Force 141 return to stop the global threat of Makarov. Expect cinematic missions, intense firefights, and multiplayer packed with tactical depth.

For the King II – September 17

Hades – September 19

Endless Legend 2 (Preview, PC) – September 22

Visions of Mana – September 25

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light – September 30

A co-op friendly action-adventure with Lara and Mayan warrior Totec. Explore temples, solve puzzles, and fight mythic enemies. A mix of Tomb Raider vibes and arcade action.
