In Silent Hill f, finding both radios is the first step toward unlocking the UFO ending. Here’s where to locate them.
The UFO ending has become a Silent Hill tradition. To unlock it in Silent Hill f, you’ll first need to track down two radios hidden throughout the game. We’ll show you their locations and when in the story you should be on the lookout.
Requirements for the UFO Ending
Before you start the radio hunt, you’ll need New Game+. That means completing Silent Hill f at least once. The main menu will then provide hints for the required steps. Plan about three hours to complete the UFO ending – you don’t need to replay the full game.
The First Radio: Hidden Basement
The first radio is hidden in a secret basement. You’ll find it right after the point where you first encounter an enemy during your initial run.
How to get there: Go down the stairs, turn left, and cross the third bridge. Once across, take the fourth bridge back. On the wall you’ll spot a small passage you can crawl through. Inside, you’ll discover the first radio, which you need to interact with.
The Second Radio: Doctor’s House
The second radio is located in the doctor’s house, which you visit before following Shu to Rinko’s mansion. Head to the house first to grab the radio.
Retrieve the key from the box on the ground floor. Use it to unlock the drawer in the upstairs right-hand room. This action opens the door to the left-hand room. Just inside, to the right of the entrance, you’ll find the second radio waiting to be activated.
After the Radios: What’s Next
With both radios activated, you’ve laid the groundwork for the UFO ending. The alien encounter requires a few more steps: you’ll need to find three movie posters in the correct order and finally track down a movie review.
Note that the UFO ending doesn’t count toward the regular endings required for unlocking the final secret ending. However, it does reward you with the achievement “The Great Invasion from Space!”
