Silent Hill f: Scarecrow Puzzle – What It’s About
In the fog, you’ll come across five different stations, each filled with grotesque human-like scarecrows. Only one points you in the right direction — the others will kill you. In front of each group is a smaller scarecrow doll with a note attached.
Here’s what to do:
- Read the note attached to the non-human scarecrow. It contains a clue about which scarecrow is the correct one.
- Pay attention to facial expressions, body posture, and how the scarecrows are positioned.
- Once you’re sure which one is right, inspect it and pull the stake from its body.
- If you chose correctly, its posture will change and it will point in a direction—follow it.
Solution: Which Scarecrows Are Correct?
In the first Scarecrow Puzzle in Silent Hill f, you need to pick the one with the most polite smile. That’s the one in the far back left, wearing a mask on the back of its head, with its right arm stretched sideways holding a sickle.
- Tip: You’ll find screenshots of the correct scarecrows in the gallery below.
In the second Scarecrow Puzzle, you need to choose the one that was deceived by you. That’s the scarecrow bent forward, holding a sickle in its right hand, with another sickle stabbed into its back.
The third Scarecrow Puzzle asks you to find the one that no boy has ever looked at the way you have. That’s the backward-bending female scarecrow with the sad gaze, all the way to the left—the only one not admired by a male counterpart.
In the fourth Scarecrow Puzzle, you’re asked to identify the “disgrace.” That’s the female scarecrow leaning to the right, without a sickle, wearing a sorrowful expression.
The fifth and final Scarecrow Puzzle in Silent Hill f challenges you to find the one forced to smile falsely at you. That’s the female scarecrow with her head bowed forward, arms stretched out, and a sickle in her back.
