Silent Hill f Middle School Walkthrough: The Goal
Your main objective in the middle school is to track down the Key to the Mountains. It’s locked away in a key cabinet inside the storage room on the first floor. Also on the first floor are the boys’ changing rooms and Aoi Takeshi’s locker, which is secured with a number lock. The girls’ changing room next door is locked.
Once you’ve visited the middle school in Silent Hill f and opened the “Secret Box”, you’ll have the main gate key for the old wing along with the Note to the Teacher. This note reveals that the key to the key cabinet is hidden in Ayumi’s locker in the first-floor changing room.
That means you’ll need to get into the girls’ changing room and crack Ayumi’s locker. To do that, you first have to collect a handful of notes that give clues to the locker codes the girls use, and also track down the changing room key.
How to Solve the Locker Code Puzzle and Find the Changing Room Key
In the classroom across the hall from where you found the Note to the Teacher, you’ll discover the code for “TT’s” locker. It’s written on a Rumors Origami (377).
In the old wing upstairs, inside the first classroom on the right, you’ll find a Student’s Note with the math puzzle 84*4.
In the hallway, another Student’s Note explains that the girls’ codes are based on the alphabet (letters swapped for numbers and symbols). For example, “BAKA” translates to “stupid,” while “SATOU” equals “54+06.” Here, 5 stands for “S,” 4 for “A.” The “+” is “T,” 0 is “O,” and 6 is “U.” Using this method, the code for “YOSIDA” would be “x05174.”
Also in the hallway is the Lovers’ Note, which says that “AISITERU” means “I love you.”
In the back-left classroom, check the teacher’s desk for a note stating that Asakura Ayumi sits in row 4, seat 2. There, you’ll find the changing room key and Asakura’s textbook, which notes that her locker combination is “BUS.” On the shelf at the back, you’ll also find a Complaints Origami with the code “AOI.”
Silent Hill f: All Locker Codes in the Girls’ Changing Room
Here are all the locker codes, based on the collected hints:
- Locker “TT” → 377 (Girls’ changing room) – Inside, you’ll find the Wolf Omamori, which boosts weapon damage when using high-durability gear.
- Aoi Takeshi’s Locker → 401 (Boys’ changing room) – Unlock it to find a Complaints Origami with another hint for Suga’s locker (“Suga’s locker code looks like a cry for help”).
- Suga’s Locker → 505 = SOS (Girls’ changing room) – Inside is a school bag that increases your inventory capacity by +1.
- Asakura Ayumi’s Locker → 865 = BUS (Girls’ changing room) – Inside is the Key Cabinet Key.
With the key cabinet key, you can finally unlock the cabinet in the storage room and claim the Key to the Mountains. Bring it back to Shu and Rinko to leave the school and finish the chapter “Shell of the Past.”
