- How many playthroughs and hours you should plan for 100% completion
- Which trophies are missable and what to pay special attention to
Resident Evil Requiem takes you back to Raccoon City and confronts you with numerous story, collectible and challenge trophies. The list is considered one of the easier ones in the series, but Platinum still requires multiple playthroughs and targeted preparation.
- Important: This trophy guide may contain spoilers and some endgame hints.
Resident Evil Requiem: Trophy Distribution, Gamerscore and Playtime
In total, you can unlock 50 trophies (or 49 achievements with a 1,000 Gamerscore on Xbox). These are distributed as follows:
- 1 × Platinum
- 3 × Gold
- 6 × Silver
- 40 × Bronze
For full completion you should plan roughly ~30 hours. A single playthrough is not enough: at least two are needed for Platinum, with three recommended.
Roadmap: The Most Efficient Way to Platinum
There is no chapter select after finishing the story and many trophies are missable. You should therefore save manually regularly. Although there are auto-saves and twelve manual slots, it’s recommended to make separate saves at key story points so you can go back later for collectibles. An effective strategy looks like this:
- First Playthrough (Difficulty: Standard – classic): Play thoroughly, collect as many files and Mr. Raccoon Figures as possible. If you finish on “Standard (Classic)” you’ll automatically unlock the lower difficulty trophies.
- Second Playthrough (Difficulty: Easy): Combine three tough trophies: Speed Demon (story under four hours), Never Touch the Stuff (no Herbs & First-Aid Sprays), Minimalist (never use the Blood Collector).
- Third Playthrough (Difficulty: Nightmare): For Remarkable Agent you must beat the hardest difficulty. Enemies are stronger and faster and item positions change, but with previously unlocked infinite ammo this run becomes much easier.
In the bonus content menu, unlocked weapons like “Freya’s Needle” and “Kotetsu” help speed up Grace segments. In other guides you can also read about the differences between the styles of Grace and Leon.
Hard Challenge Trophies at a Glance
Several achievements require special playstyles. The speedrun trophy Speed Demon demands a story completion in under four hours including freeing Elpis. Never Touch the Stuff forbids the use of Herbs and First-Aid Sprays. Minimalist requires a full playthrough without using the Blood Collector.
Resident Evil Requiem also heavily focuses on collectibles: Safes, BSAA Containers, Mr. Raccoon Figures, unlockable models and concept art are part of it.
Missable Trophies in the Game
Particularly important is the story decision around Elpis. For Hope and Requiem you must free Elpis. If you destroy Elpis you miss this trophy and get a different ending.
