In Resident Evil Requiem, several locked safes are scattered throughout the game, each containing valuable rewards. The corresponding codes are hidden in notes—some easier to find than others. Code and safe aren’t always close together, either. In some cases, you’ll even discover the combination while playing as a different character. This guide clearly lists all safe codes and their locations so you don’t miss a single reward.

  • Spoiler warning: This guide does not contain story spoilers, but we do reference specific locations in order to explain where to find safes and their codes.

All Safe Codes and Locations in the Sanatorium

Safe #1: East Wing — Examination Room

Enter the East Wing, turn left at reception, and head into the Examination Room. The safe is on a shelf to the right of the laid-out corpse.

  • Code: 30 right, 10 left, 50 right.
  • Reward: 2 Antique Coins

You’ll find the code in a note in the East Wing after taking the stairs up to the Research Director’s Office on the first floor. Slip past the two infected enemies and head right into the passage where a body lies. Move behind it and check the bloodstained lockers—the note is sitting on top of one of them.

Safe #2: East Wing — Waiting Room

The next safe is in the waiting room of the East Wing. You’ll need to take down at least one undead enemy to get behind the reception desk. Fortunately, there’s no code required—this safe is already open and contains two Antique Coins.

Safe #3: West Wing — Bar & Lounge

This safe is located in the Bar & Lounge, which is crawling with multiple undead enemies. You can lure them out one by one or stock up on ammo and clear the room. The safe is positioned behind the bar counter.

  • Reward: 2 Antique Coins

You’ll find the code in the Office on the first floor of the West Wing, accessible via the Level 1 security door to the left of the Parlor. You can read where to find the required ID security bracelet in our Sanatorium walkthrough. The note with the code is on the first desk to the left.

Safe #4 – Basement Furnace

This time, you’ll find the code first — right after waking up as Leon in the Sanatorium and defeating the ravenous infected. Leave the Attic and open the cabinet.

You’ll discover the fourth safe as Grace in the Sanatorium basement. Use the joint plugs to unlock the door near the furnace opposite the surveillance room. The safe is on a shelf inside the small adjoining workshop.

All Safe Codes and Locations in the Ark

Safe #5 – Sterilization Chamber

Once you take control of Grace in the Ark, you’ll need to search for the Activation Key. In the Sterilization Chamber, you’ll encounter a Licker prowling directly in front of the safe.
