Meta is expanding its Horizon+ subscription again in March with two additional VR titles. You can find out which games for Quest 3, Quest 3S, Quest Pro and Quest 2 are included at no extra cost this time here.
Subscribers to Meta Horizon+ once again receive two games that remain permanently in their personal library as long as the subscription stays active. This time the lineup includes a large pirate adventure with strategy elements and a revamped zombie shooter.
The Pirate: Republic of Nassau
In The Pirate: Republic of Nassau you command 18th-century warships and build your own empire in the Caribbean as a captain. The setting is Nassau, the historic center of the pirate republic, which you gradually expand and manage.
The focus is on tactical real-time naval battles. You choose different types of ammunition, set ambushes and command multiple ships within your fleet. In addition, you recruit famous privateers with their own vessels and expand your fleet with additional historical ships that can be upgraded and customized.
Outside of combat, the game offers an open world. You can trade goods or raid merchant ships, accept missions from governors or follow rumors from taverns to unlock hidden locations. These include prison breaks or assaults on bandit camps. Melee combat with swords, daggers and explosives as well as diving for hidden treasure are also part of the experience.
In addition to the single-player mode, both cooperative matches (PvE) and duels against other players (PvP) are available. The game is played seated with Touch controllers and an internet connection is not strictly required.

Arizona Sunshine® Remake
With Arizona Sunshine Remake, one of the most well-known VR zombie shooters returns in a revised version. The new edition combines the original campaign with updated visuals, improved weapon handling and all previously released additional content.
The story remains unchanged: After receiving a radio signal hinting at other survivors, you set out across the deserts of Arizona in search of other people. Along the way you face large groups of undead, loot buildings for ammunition and equipment, and fight your way through several chapters that together form an ongoing story.
A central element is the physical interaction with the weapons. Pistols, shotguns, machetes or flamethrowers are handled using motion controls and must be manually reloaded. The remake also integrates a detailed dismemberment system that visibly represents hit zones.
In addition to the solo campaign, there is a cooperative mode for two players and a horde mode for up to four participants. All DLCs – including “Dead Man” and “The Damned” – are included.
