Important Tips for Safe Codes in Mafia: The Old Country
Watch out for missable safes: The customs office safe and the ground floor police station safe can be missed if you don’t open them during the corresponding missions.
Find code clues: You’ll usually find notes with hints for the correct combination in the same room or building. These will then appear in the top right corner of your screen when entering the code.
Ignore red herrings: Don’t be misled by false clues – the codes listed above are the only correct ones.
Unlocking the “Salvatore’s Apprentice” Achievement
To unlock this achievement, you’ll need to crack a safe without collecting the code note first. This means:
- Do not pick up the note containing the code
- Enter the combination directly at the safe (use our list)
- Alternatively: Reload a checkpoint after finding the note and enter the memorized code without assistance
With these safe codes, you’ll have no trouble opening every safe in Mafia: The Old Country and collecting all the valuable rewards!
