Little Nightmares 3 is the most extensive entry in Bandai Namco’s dark puzzle-platformer series yet. With its main game chapters and two additional ones planned for the expansion “Secrets of the Spiral,” the game offers more playtime and mysteries than ever before. How many chapters does Little Nightmares 3 have?
At launch, Little Nightmares 3 includes four chapters. Once you’ve completed the game, you can replay any chapter directly from the chapter select menu on the main screen. At first, only the opening chapter “Necropolis” is available, with the others unlocking as you progress through the story. Later this year, an expansion will add two more chapters, bringing the total to six.
All chapters in Little Nightmares 3 at a glance
The four main chapters vary in length, atmosphere, and the number of collectible dolls hidden throughout. These dolls are optional items scattered across each level. Chapter 3, in particular, stands out for its scale and the sheer number of collectibles it contains.

“Secrets of the Spiral”: What’s included in the Little Nightmares 3 expansion
The “Secrets of the Spiral” DLC expands Little Nightmares 3 with two additional chapters. Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games haven’t announced a release date yet but confirmed the extra content will arrive “at a later time.”
The expansion includes:
- Two new chapters
- New perspectives on the main story
- Hidden secrets and extra horror sequences
- A new costume pack (Ferryman Costume Set) to dress up Low and Alone in fresh outfits
According to Bandai Namco, the additional chapters aren’t essential to understanding the main story, but they expand the experience with new locations and deeper lore.
