Hogwarts Legacy features plenty of collectibles that are genuinely useful. Demiguise statues are one of them and can be found both inside Hogwarts and out in the surrounding areas. We will show you where to find the statues on the map and what you need them for.

When do you unlock the Demiguise statues?
After you start Mr. Moon’s quest “The Man Behind the Moons”, you will need to collect a few statues inside the school. This means the first three statues are unlocked automatically through the story. During the quest, you will also get a feel for how collecting them works.

One thing that is especially important is that you can only collect the statues at night. During the day, you cannot interact with them. To avoid searching the entire world blindly, you can use the map to see how many Demiguise statues are placed in each region. Click on a region to get more details about its collectibles.
- Tip: If you find a statue during the day, open the map and press the wait button to switch to nighttime. When you are close to a Demiguise, your character will comment on it.
Hogwarts Legacy: What are Demiguise statues used for?
At the start of the game, the statues have no purpose and cannot be collected. You can only interact with them after the quest begins. If you regularly bring new Moons to Mr. Moon, which the statues are holding, you will receive the spell “Alohomora”. After turning in 9 statues, your spell is upgraded to level 2. Once you find 13 more statues, you unlock the maximum level of “Alohomora”.
- Note: There are 33 statues in total. However, you only need 22 of them to reach the maximum spell level.
So why is the spell so important? It lets you open locked doors all over Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and the surrounding areas. After a short lockpicking mini-game, the door opens and you can find Moons, money, gear, or other collectibles.

Hogwarts Legacy: Locations of all Demiguise statues
There are 33 statues in total spread across Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and the surrounding areas. You can find 13 Demiguise statues in Hogwarts, nine in Hogsmeade, and eleven in the small villages.
Hogwarts Legacy: All Demiguise statues in Hogwarts
Inside the school, you will find a total of 10 Demiguise statues, plus three more that are unlocked during the caretaker quest. To collect them all, keep your eyes open.
- Note: Our list includes 13 Demiguise statues because we also describe the locations of the statues found during the quest.
Demiguise Statue No. 1
- Location: You will find the first statue after starting Mr. Moon’s quest. The figure sits in a small niche in the wall. You cannot miss it, because the caretaker points it out to you.
Demiguise Statue No. 2
- Location: You will also find the second Demiguise statue during the caretaker quest, at the very end of the Prefects’ Bathrooms. To slip past the students unnoticed, use the Disillusionment Charm.
Demiguise Statue No. 3
- Location: To find the third Demiguise statue during the quest, you need to head to the Hospital Wing. Be careful though, two professors are standing right at the entrance. Turn invisible and sneak past them to the end of the room. You will find the next Moon on a table.
Demiguise Statue No. 4
- Location: In the South Wing, use the Floo Flame “Clock Tower Courtyard” and go straight through the wooden door. Cross the short outdoor bridge until you can go down the stairs. On the left, you will find a door that leads to a second locked door. Behind it, in the middle stall, is the next Moon.
Demiguise Statue No. 5
- Location: In the Great Hall, which you can also reach via the Floo Flame “Great Hall”, keep to the right until you reach a locked level 1 door. Behind the door, the next Demiguise is sitting on a table.
Demiguise Statue No. 6
- Location: Use the Floo Flame “Divination Classroom” and go straight up the stairs. At the top, you will see a ladder you need to climb. Inside the classroom, the statue is sitting on a wooden table.
Demiguise Statue No. 7
- Location: Use the Floo Flame “Potions Classroom” and go through the large door in front of you. Instead of entering the classroom, go down the stairs on the left until you reach a locked level 1 door. Go through it and follow the corridor to the level 2 door. Behind it, you will find the next Moon.
Demiguise Statue No. 8
- Location: Use the Floo Flame “Library” and go through the door behind you, toward the Restricted Section. You have already visited this area during a quest with Sebastian. Keep heading down until you reach an Eye Chest. In the room behind the Eye Chest, the next Demiguise is on the left, sitting on a cabinet.
Demiguise Statue No. 9
- Location: Use the Floo Flame “Beasts Classroom”. You will see a large building and a smaller one. Unlock the level 2 lock on the smaller building to collect the next Moon inside.
Demiguise Statue No. 10
- Location: At the Floo Flame “Hogwarts North Exit”, turn around and look to the left. You will see a staircase. Instead of going up, there is a level 1 door directly underneath it that you must open with “Alohomora”. Another Moon is inside.
Demiguise Statue No. 11
- Location: In the Astronomy Wing at the Floo Flame “Transfiguration Courtyard”, go through the large door behind you and then head right to a level 2 door. The next Demiguise is behind it.
Demiguise Statue No. 12
- Location: At the Floo Flame “Transfiguration Classroom”, turn around and go left through the large door. Head straight and go down the stairs until you reach a stone dragon. Shortly after, you will find a locked level 1 door. The statue is directly behind it.
Demiguise Statue No. 13
- Location: Use the Floo Flame “Professor Fig’s Classroom” and go through the door. At the end of the room, you need to go up the stairs. In Professor Fig’s office, you will find the statue in the back-left corner next to the fireplace, sitting on a small table.
Hogwarts Legacy: All Demiguise statues in Hogsmeade
In Hogsmeade, you can find nine more statues, which, with a few exceptions, are mostly located inside houses. To collect them all, you should already have “Alohomora” at level 2.

Demiguise Statue No. 1
- Location: Use the Floo Flame “North Hogsmeade” and head to Brood & Peck. Directly across from it is a small house with a level 1 lock on the door. Pick the lock and grab the statue right behind the door on the ground floor.
Demiguise Statue No. 2
- Location: The Floo Flame “North Hogsmeade” will also take you close to the next Demiguise. First, walk toward Honeydukes. Once you are in front of the shop door, go left and walk up the small stone path to the houses. The house on the right has a level 1 lock. Inside, the statue is sitting on a wooden table.
Demiguise Statue No. 3
- Location: Inside Gladrags Wizardwear, you will find the Demiguise statue on the right, sitting on the counter.
Demiguise Statue No. 4
- Location: From the Floo Flame “South Hogsmeade”, walk to “The Three Broomsticks”. When you are standing in front of the door, follow the building to the right. In the first house after the staircase, you will find the statue upstairs.
Demiguise Statue No. 5
- Location: Inside “The Three Broomsticks”, you will find the Demiguise behind a locked level 1 door. Head all the way up the stairs and you will automatically reach the room where the statue is located.
Demiguise Statue No. 6
- Location: From the Floo Flame “West Hogsmeade”, head slightly to the right and go up the steps. Right next to J. Pippin’s Potions, you will find a house with a level 2 lock. Pick it and collect the statue upstairs.
Demiguise Statue No. 7
- Location: From the Floo Flame “West Hogsmeade” , head toward Tomes and Scrolls. On the way, you will pass a house right next to an old cart. After picking the lock, head all the way upstairs. The statue is there.
Demiguise Statue No. 8
- Location: In The Hog’s Head, you will find a small room behind the bar. The Demiguise statue is sitting on two wooden crates.
Demiguise Statue No. 9
- Location: Enter Tomes and Scrolls and walk into the room behind the owner Thomas Brown. There you will find the last of the nine statues.
Hogwarts Legacy: All Demiguise statues in the Highlands
You will find the remaining eleven Demiguise statues in the Highlands surrounding Hogwarts. Some regions are quickest to reach via Floo Flames. If you have not explored an area yet, use your mount (guide).
Demiguise Statue No. 1
- Location: Use the Floo Flame “Upper Hogsfield” north of Hogsmeade. Keep slightly to the left until you reach a well. Right next to it, you will find a house with a large wooden wheel. Unlock the door with “Alohomora” and collect the statue inside.
Demiguise Statue No. 2
- Location: From the Floo Flame “Pitt-Upon-Ford”, head right toward the bridge. Instead of crossing it, enter the house on the right. Upstairs, you will find a Demiguise statue.
Demiguise Statue No. 3
- Location: South of Hogwarts in the village of Aranshire, you will find a house right next to the Floo Flame. Upstairs, you will find a statue.
Demiguise Statue No. 4
- Location: South of Hogwarts in Lower Hogsfield, you will find another statue inside a small house, right behind the door. If you arrive via the Floo Flame, simply turn around and walk through the gate. The right house is the first one on the right.
Demiguise Statue No. 5
- Location: Use the Floo Flame “Brocburrow” in Hogwarts Valley and simply walk straight toward the house. You will find another Demiguise statue there.
Demiguise Statue No. 6
- Location: Once you arrive at the Floo Flame “Keenbridge” in the village of the same name, just walk straight ahead. Behind the vendor is a large house with a clothesline next to it. Pick the lock and collect the Demiguise on the ground floor.
Demiguise Statue No. 7
- Location: You will find the next statue in the Feldcroft Region at the Floo Flame “Feldcroft”. Right as you arrive, you will see a well in the middle. Behind it is the house where a Demiguise statue is sitting on the windowsill.
Demiguise Statue No. 8
- Location: Also in the Feldcroft Region, but further southeast from the previous statue, use the Floo Flame “Irondale” and walk straight ahead for a few meters. On the right, you will find the house with an old woman sitting outside. Go inside and look behind the counter. The statue is there.
Demiguise Statue No. 9
- Location: In Manor Cape, the easiest way is to use the Floo Flame “Bainburgh”. From there, walk left to the large house sealed with a level 1 lock. The Demiguise is inside.
Demiguise Statue No. 10
- Location: In the small hamlet of Cragcroft in Cragcroftshire, you will find a house directly behind the vendor. Upstairs, the Demiguise statue is sitting on a table.
Demiguise Statue No. 11
- Location: In the Marunweem Lake region, walk from the Floo Flame “Marunweem” along the path to the right until you reach a house with several iron pots and a clothesline next to it. The statue is hidden in the back-left of the house.
