The new premium Warbond “Redacted Regiment” for Helldivers 2 is all about covert operations, featuring suppressed weapons and stealth-focused armor sets.
The Ministry of Defense in Helldivers 2 has announced the premium Warbond “Redacted Regiment”, launching on January 20. Its main focus is stealth gameplay and special-ops equipment designed for covert missions at the edge of the galaxy.
The Warbond includes two suppressed primary weapons: the R-72 Censor, a precision rifle built for mid-range combat, and the AR-59 Suppressor, a fully automatic assault rifle offering increased firepower. As a secondary weapon, players can use the P-35 Re-Educator, a dart pistol whose chemicals cause delirium in organic targets and malfunctions in machines.
For players who prefer a less subtle approach, the B/MD-C4 Pack is included. This backpack comes with six adhesive charges and a wireless detonator, allowing for individual or simultaneous explosions. The TM-01 Decoy Mine, on the other hand, lures enemies with light and sound before detonating.
Two armor sets are also part of the Warbond: the light RS-89 Shadow Prototype Armor and the medium RS-67 Null Cipher Armor with radar-absorbent coating. Both sets feature the passive ability “Reduced Signature”, lowering noise output and detection range.
Additional content includes:
- “Pillars of the Abyss” and “Triangulation Veil” capes with matching player cards
- Victory pose “Target Acquired”
- “Covert Drop” booster, providing smoke cover during Hellpod deployment
- Player title “[REDACTED]”
The Warbond requires the base game, the purchase or earning of Super Credits, and sufficient in-game progression.
Helldivers 2 receives new Warbonds on a regular basis
Since its release in February 2024, developer Arrowhead Game Studios has continuously expanded the cooperative third-person shooter with new content. The Warbond system, similar to a battle pass, regularly unlocks new weapons, armor sets, and cosmetic items.
Most recently, the premium Warbond “Python Commandos” launched on December 2, featuring the long-awaited M-1000 Maxigun, a minigun with a high ammo capacity. Before that, the Warbond “Dust Devils” arrived on September 4, introducing weapons such as the AR-2 Coyote incendiary assault rifle and the G-7 Pineapple shrapnel grenade.
Crossover content is also part of the offering. At the end of August, a Legendary Warbond launched with Halo: ODST-inspired gear, including the MA5C Assault Rifle and special armor sets.
