Helldivers 2 will receive the Python Commandos Premium Warbond on December 2, adding new weapons like a minigun, designs, and equipment.
The Ministry of Defense in Helldivers 2 has announced that the Python Commandos Premium Warbond will launch on December 2. It includes three new Tactical Equipment items and a new primary weapon.
The weapons include the long-awaited M-1000 Maxigun, a minigun with extremely high ammo capacity. There is also the AX/FLAM-75 “Guard Dog” Hotdog, a drone equipped with a flamethrower, the CQC-9 Defoliator Tool for cutting through trees and enemies, and the AR/GL-21 Two-in-One, a combination assault rifle and grenade launcher.
The Warbond offers two new armor sets: the light RS-20 Constrictor set and the heavy RS-40 Predator Beast set, inspired by legendary Helldiver Ronald Mambo. Both feature the passive “Rock Solid” trait, protecting against stagger and ragdoll effects. Also included are the cloaks “Enemy’s Fracture” and “Serpent’s Mark,” along with matching player cards.
Additional content includes the “Push-Up Position” emote, the Chameleon Camo design for equipment, and the player title “Python Commando.”
Helldivers 2 regularly receives new content through Warbonds
Since its original release in February 2024, the cooperative third-person shooter Helldivers 2 has received several major content updates. Through the Battle Pass-style Warbond system, new cosmetic and gameplay-related items are added on a regular basis.
On September 2, the “Beyond Justice” expansion launched, introducing new threats like underground cave tunnels and mutated enemies. Shortly afterward came the Premium Warbond “Dust Devils,” featuring weapons like the AR-2 Coyote assault rifle and the G-7 Pineapple scatter grenade.
Crossovers are also common: On August 26, a Legendary Warbond was released featuring gear in the style of Halo: ODST, including the MA5C assault rifle and ODST armor sets with a passive booster.
