On August 26, a Legendary Warbond for Helldivers 2 will launch featuring gear inspired by Halo: ODST. We’ve got all the details for you.
Helldivers 2 is getting a Legendary Warbond on August 26 with weapons, armor, and cosmetics styled after Halo spin-off ODST. According to developer Arrowhead Game Studios, it’s a long-awaited crossover that fans are going to love.
The “Helldivers 2 x Halo: ODST” Warbond includes the MA5C Assault Rifle, the M6C/SOCOM silenced pistol, the M90A Shotgun, and the suppressed M7S Submachine Gun. It also brings the A-9 Helljumper and A-35 Recon armor sets, featuring the passive booster “Feet First into Hell.” This booster makes your movements quieter and increases the range for discovering points of interest by 30 percent.
Rounding out the Legendary Warbond are ODST-themed player card designs, a new player title, plus skins for the Hellpod, shuttle, exosuit, and SAF. The bundle will cost 1,500 Super Credits in the Acquisition Center—more than previous Warbonds. It is not compatible with the new Premium Warbond Token.
Helldivers 2 Expands to Xbox
With the Xbox release, the cooperative third-person shooter Helldivers 2 is coming to a new platform. In the game, you fight on behalf of Super Earth’s managed democracy against alien threats. The objective is to successfully evacuate your squad—usually under heavy fire. Friendly Fire is always active, making teamwork essential.
On Xbox, Helldivers 2 will be available in two editions: The Standard Edition for €39.99 includes only the base game. The Super Citizen Edition for €59.99 comes with extras like an exclusive armor set, a weapon, a cape, and a Premium Warbond Token. Pre-ordering also grants three additional armor sets. There is no preload, and Xbox Game Pass will not support the game at launch.
Since its original release in February 2024, Helldivers 2 has already received several major content updates. Through a battle pass-style system called Warbonds, you unlock cosmetic and gameplay-related content—either with in-game currency or real money.
