The “Festival of Reckoning” in Helldivers 2 runs for two weeks and introduces special Major Orders with exclusive Stratagems. We have all the details.
From December 18 at 11:00 AM until December 31 at 11:59 PM, the “Festival of Reckoning” takes place in Helldivers 2. The annual event is funded by the Reckoning Fund and is meant to celebrate love, family, peace, and the pursuit of peace by all means.
During the festival, players gain access to special Major Orders that temporarily unlock exclusive tactical gear. This also includes equipment from premium Warbonds that are otherwise only available through real-money purchases.
In-game messages regularly inform players which Major Orders and tactical gear are currently active. The developers at Arrowhead Game Studios encourage players to light up the skies with the fires of peaceful and democratic seasonal joy.
Regular Updates and Events for Helldivers 2
Since the release of Helldivers 2 in February 2024, the developers have continued to supply the cooperative third-person shooter with regular new content. Most recently, on December 2, the Python Commandos premium Warbond launched, introducing new weapons such as the M-1000 Maxigun, a minigun with an extremely high ammo capacity.
Through the Warbond system, which works similarly to a battle pass, new cosmetic and gameplay-relevant content is unlocked on an ongoing basis. This includes weapons, equipment, emotes, and designs. On August 26, players even received a legendary Warbond featuring gear inspired by Halo: ODST.
