Obsidian Entertainment has released Patch 0.1.3 for Grounded 2, improving stability, performance, and overall quality of the survival game. We’ve summarized the patch notes for you.
Obsidian Entertainment has rolled out Update 0.1.3 for Grounded 2. The patch brings a number of improvements and fixes several issues that could cause the game to crash. According to the developers, performance has increased by about 30 percent compared to version 0.1.2.1.
The most important changes include:
- Snail shells now despawn automatically after 24 hours.
- New save repair options added, including a “Creature Reset” and a “Reset Buggy.”
- The number of save slots per world has been limited to 10 to prevent performance issues.
- Fixed several crashes when fleeing from the ORC wave, opening menus, and in other scenarios.
- General UI performance has been improved when opening menus.
- Fixed login issues with Microsoft accounts across all platforms.
- Fixed a progression blocker during the fight against the Mysterious Stranger.
- Patched various exploits that allowed item duplication via the buggy inventory.

Grounded 2 launches strong in Early Access
Grounded 2 entered Early Access on July 29, 2025, building on the success of the first game. New features include a much larger world, Brookhollow Park, and rideable insects known as “Buggies”.
