Ubisoft is hosting a limited-time free trial for Anno 117: Pax Romana in late February, alongside a new round of Twitch rewards and fresh hints at upcoming DLC.
As the development team announced on the official Anno Union website, you can try the city-building strategy game from Thursday, February 26, through Monday, March 2, at no extra cost. During that window, access is available via Ubisoft Connect as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Two New Twitch Drops
At the same time, a new Twitch campaign kicks off. According to the announcement, you can unlock two exclusive logos by watching livestreams of Anno 117: Pax Romana. The rewards are tied to watch time: after one hour, you’ll receive the “Callinectes” logo; after two hours, the “Venusian Shell” logo unlocks. The promotion begins on February 26 at 6 p.m. and runs through March 12 at 6 p.m.
To claim the bonuses, you’ll first need to link your Twitch profile to your Ubisoft account. Your viewing time will then be tracked automatically. Earned items must be manually redeemed in your Twitch inventory before they appear in-game.
DLC Rumors in “Tavern Gossip”
The announcement is part of Ubisoft’s regularly published “Union Updates,” which cover patches, cosmetic add-ons, and community initiatives. Recent highlights included the “Masterful Mosaics” pack, a livestream with the art team, and updates such as Patch 1.3.2.
In the new video format titled “Tavern Gossip,” you can also listen in on a staged conversation discussing rumors about upcoming Anno 117 expansions. You’ll find all currently known details about the expansions in our Anno 117 DLC overview.
