Call of the Beast: Inside the Community Event

Running alongside the roadmap, the global community event “Call of the Beast” kicks off on October 16, 2025, and runs for eleven weeks. Each Thursday, a new community-wide challenge will unlock, tasking players around the world with hitting shared goals. The event wraps up on January 7, 2026.

How the Event Works

Every week brings a new challenge whose progress depends on the efforts of the entire community. Once a goal is met, all participants from that week earn an exclusive in-game reward delivered straight to their inventory. Rewards range from new weapons and vehicle skins to cosmetic items.

Players who complete at least 17 of the 22 objectives will unlock a secret legendary reward at the end of the event. If the community collectively achieves 20 weekly goals, everyone who participated for at least one week will receive all rewards — regardless of when they joined.

All challenges are listed on the official Dying Light Outpost site, which also tracks real-time community progress and provides weekly updates on event milestones.
