Disney Dreamlight Valley welcomes Lady and the Tramp as two new villagers. Here’s how you can unlock them.
With the free “Puppy Love” update, Lady and the Tramp have officially arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley. If you want to bring the iconic Disney duo to your village, you’ll first need to enter their dedicated Realm in the Dream Castle and complete a multi-part questline. In this guide, we walk you through every step, explain the requirements, and show you what to expect once they move in.
Open the Realm in the Dream Castle
Your first stop is the Dream Castle. Inside, you’ll find a new door leading to the Lady and the Tramp Realm. There are no special story prerequisites, so you don’t need to complete a specific main quest beforehand. The only requirement is having enough Dreamlight to unlock the door.
The amount of Dreamlight required depends on how many Realms you’ve already unlocked. At most, it can cost up to 15,000 Dreamlight. If you’re short, complete Dreamlight Duties in the Valley, which you can access directly from the menu. Once the door is unlocked, enter the Realm and begin the introductory quest.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: Complete the “Puppy Love” Quest
Behind the door, you’ll first see Tramp running toward Tony’s Restaurant. After that, you can explore the new area and collect materials scattered around, which will be needed later in the quest. Once you’re done, find Tramp near the lamppost and speak with him. He thinks you’re strange for talking to dogs and doesn’t trust you yet.

After Tramp runs off, you’re tasked with searching all trash cans to find materials for a more suitable outfit. You’ll need:
- 4x Old Stuffing
- 4x Old Paper
- 4x Fabric
If you already searched all trash cans and corners beforehand, you may already have everything. Use the workbench at the end of the alley to craft Tony’s Shirt and Tony’s Apron, then equip them. Once you’re wearing the outfit, speak to Tramp again. He’s not far from the workbench. Follow the dialogue and help the two dogs enjoy a romantic spaghetti dinner.
To make the date a success, speak to Lady and prepare the Spaghetti Special using ingredients from the stall. You’ll also need to find a tablecloth and some candles. The tablecloth is hanging on a nearby clothesline. After a short cutscene, dogcatchers appear and capture Lady. Searchlights now sweep the streets, which you must avoid. Pull the lever behind the searchlights and use the ladder to reach the window and enter the pound.
Speak to Lady again and retrieve the golden key by entering the tunnel hidden beneath a wooden barrel. In the next room, complete the following tasks:
- Find Old Rope
- Remove Coat Hooks with your Pickaxe
- Collect the Coat Hooks
Return to Lady and craft an “Improvised Grappling Hook” using the rope and coat hook to retrieve the key and unlock the door.
The Meatball Mayhem
In the second part, you investigate a strange event in their hometown: a storm of meatballs is causing chaos. Together, you uncover the source by following the quest markers and resolving the issue. Search for Tramp, who has gone missing. You must leave the Valley and speak with Merlin to learn more about his disappearance. He asks you to craft a replacement nose using raspberries, blue dye, purple dye, soil, and topaz. These materials can be found in the Valley.
Return to Lady and collect the Sauce Essence found on the street. After crafting the nose, follow the purple scent trail. Use your shovel to dig a path toward Tramp. Continue following the scent until you find spaghetti meatballs, which you must eat. Once the chaos is resolved, speak to Tramp and give him the green magical collar.
Place Their House and Increase Friendship
After completing the Realm quest, you can place Lady and the Tramp’s house in the Valley. Only once their home is built are they permanently unlocked.
After that, they function like other villagers:
- Have daily conversations
- Give gifts
- Choose shared activities
- Complete friendship quests
As your friendship level increases, you unlock new rewards. Many of them are inspired by the early 20th-century aesthetic and capture the charm of the original film.
