Cronos: The New Dawn is packed with puzzles, and not all of them are straightforward. Doors and safes in particular can be a real headache. To save you the hassle, we’ve gathered every code and key location along with the correct combinations in one place.

Storeroom Code / Tailor Shop
Location: Side room after the “Heading Forward Travelog” recording, next to the generator.

Apartment Safe (Edward Wisniewski)
Location: Edward’s apartment. The code is written on the photo “Angela’s Birthday Party”.

Steelworks – Hall B Clearance
Location: Note in the upstairs office behind the loading bay.

Steelworks – Isolation Zone
Location: After the two large Orphans in the isolation area. Look for the note in the locker room.

Director’s Office
Location: Administration Wing in Unity Hospital. The code is inside the room behind a breakable wall.

Location: In the room left of the blocked door at the start (behind the “Dangerous Games” note).

Location: On the main path after the “Strategic Advice Travelog”. Can’t be missed.

Traveler’s Seal Key (Predecessor)
Location: Optional room after picking up the first Torch Fuel. Burn away the black biomass nearby to reach the key.

Hardware Store Key
Location: Third sector, in Apartment #29 on the top floor. Use the stairs since the elevator is out of service. Unlock the entrance door and clear the enemies to claim the key.

Traveler’s Seal Key (Apartment Safe Room)
Location: Safe Room on the first floor in Sector D-3. First grab the bolt cutters and break the chains on a downstairs door. Inside, a cat will drop the key.

Shelter Key
Location: Apartment complex to the right of Edward’s Shelter. Defeat the enemy in the basement (Unit 94).

Location: Safe Room directly after Hall B in the Steelworks. Head upstairs to grab the key from a table.

All Puzzle Solutions in Cronos: The New Dawn
Hospital Puzzle (Unity Hospital)
- Collect two chalices (one from Bebola the cat, the other in the Director’s Office with code 9509).
- Place both at the altar in the Hospital Safe Room to receive the Chapel Backroom Key (unlocks new weapon access).
Church Door Puzzle (The Abbey)
- You need 6 statue pieces (Trident, Child, Shield, Sword, Sickle, Cauldron).
