You can also earn so-called Twitch Drops in Crimson Desert through your watch time. We’ll show you how to get them.
With Crimson Desert, Pearl Abyss is launching one of the biggest open-world adventures of the year on March 19, 2026, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Around release, a multi-week Twitch Drops campaign will run, allowing you to unlock exclusive in-game items. We’ll show you what rewards are available, how much watch time you need, and how to participate.
Release date and start time
Crimson Desert launches worldwide on March 19, 2026. The global release times are 3:00 PM PT, 6:00 PM ET, and 10:00 PM GMT. If you pre-ordered the game via the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Microsoft Store, or Steam, you can preload it 48 hours before release. The Twitch Drops campaign runs directly during the launch week.
All Twitch Drops at a glance
The drops are split into two weeks. In week 1, you need a total of five hours of watch time to unlock all rewards. In week 2, three hours are enough to complete the mount set.
Week 1: Blue Scout Set
One hour of watch time:
- Simple Braised Meat x10
- Blue Scout Lantern
Two hours of watch time:
- Blue Scout Earring
- Blue Scout Necklace
- Blue Scout Ring
Three hours of watch time:
- Blue Scout Shield
Five hours of watch time:
- Blue Scout Cloak
- Blue Scout Armor
- Blue Scout Hat
After five hours, you’ll have unlocked a complete cosmetic set including a shield.
Week 2: Mount Equipment
One hour of watch time:
- Blue Scout Stirrups
Two hours of watch time:
- Blue Scout Champron
Three hours of watch time:
- Blue Scout Saddle
This adds matching cosmetic items for your mount in the Blue Scout design.
How to participate in Crimson Desert Twitch Drops
Twitch Drops are rewards you earn by watching selected livestreams. The sound does not need to be on, so you can leave the stream running in the background. Other titles like Battlefield 6 or Anno 117 have also offered extra goodies at launch through Twitch Drops.
First, you need to link your Twitch account with your Pearl Abyss account. You can do this via the official Crimson Desert website or through the connection settings on Twitch. Without linking, no drops will be granted.
Then choose a stream in the Crimson Desert category that is marked with “Drops Enabled.” Only streams of Crimson Desert count. Watching other games will not progress your rewards.
Your watch time is tracked automatically. Running multiple streams at the same time does not speed up progress. Once you reach the required time, you must manually claim the reward in your Twitch inventory. You usually have 24 hours to do so. Only after claiming will the item be added to your game account and become available in-game. If drops do not appear, check your account connection and restart the game.
