In Crimson Desert, the quest “Spire of the Stars” presents you with a switch puzzle. We’ll show you how to solve it.

Chapter 4 of Crimson Desert takes you to the icy mountain of the Institute of Scholastein. There, you must activate a switch system to power the elevator and reach the top of the tower. We’ll walk you through the solution.

The starting situation: In front of you is a wall with four large switches, each with a slot for a cube beneath it. Each switch is marked with a symbol (circle, triangle, square and a cross-like symbol). One of them (circle) is already fitted with a cube.

Finding the Right Cubes for the Switches

In the side rooms on the left and right, you’ll find a panel on the wall showing the positions of two switches in the main room. Next to each panel are two devices that you can activate using Palm Force to release one of the required cubes.

How Do I Move the Switches in the Tower of Scholastein?

Each cube has a symbol. Place the cubes into the slots beneath the matching switches in the main room. This will automatically move the corresponding switch all the way up. Now take another look at the panels in the side rooms and memorize the positions of the symbols.

To position them correctly in the main room, climb up the wall and hang onto the symbol. Kliff’s weight moves the switch downward step by step. Once it locks into the correct position, let go.

Place the symbols as follows (see image below):
