There’s a useful Abyss Nexus waiting in Greymane Camp in Crimson Desert, but before you can use it, you’ll need to meet several requirements. We’ll show you step by step how to find the missing Abyss Transporter and how to fast travel there.

In Crimson Desert, fast travel is handled via Abyss Nexus points. Especially in larger regions, they save you from long and dangerous routes. However, the Abyss Nexus in Greymane Camp is incomplete. A missing fragment prevents activation, which can be frustrating early on. To help you avoid unnecessary backtracking, we’ll walk you through the full process.

Step 1: Find the Abyss Nexus and Clear the Bushes

The Abyss Nexus is hidden east of the camp behind a thorn bush. We’ve marked the exact location on the map for you.

To reveal the Abyss Nexus, you need to remove the vines covering it. Do the following:

  1. Draw your sword.
  2. Activate the sword’s mirror reflection (hold L1/LB + R2/RB).
  3. Position it between the sun and the bushes so the reflection burns the thorn bush.

Once the area is cleared, you’ll notice that the Abyss Nexus is incomplete, and you won’t be able to activate it yet.

Step 2: Requirements to Activate the Abyss Nexus

To activate the Abyss Nexus in Greymane Camp, you must complete Chapter 4 and unlock a key ability.

You’ll need the following:

  • Kuku Iron Pot – obtained during the quest “Mysterious Pot” (quest guide)
  • Focused Force Palm – found on the way to the Scholastein Institute during “Forbidden Knowledge”

Without these, you won’t be able to retrieve the missing fragment. The ability is especially important, as it allows you to destroy the special wall blocking your path.

Step 3: Find the Missing Abyss Transporter

Once you have everything, head to the Karin Quarry, northeast of Hernand City. The missing piece of the Abyss Nexus is located there.

First, you’ll need to clear the quarry as part of the House Roberts questline and defeat Marnis Excavatron. After that, use the crane to lift the large relic and reveal an underground entrance.

Inside the cave, destroy the turrets using your Axiom powers. Then, use Focused Force Palm to break through the special wall.

Behind it, you’ll find the Abyss Transporter. Use Axiom Force to grab it and store it in your Kuku Iron Pot.

Return to the Abyss Nexus in Greymane Camp, place the transporter on the platform, and use Force Palm mid-air to slam it into place. This activates the fast travel point.
