Launching on November 14, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is the latest entry in Treyarch and Activision’s iconic shooter series. As always, the right weapon and equipment setup can make all the difference—whether you’re playing Multiplayer, Co-op Campaign, or Zombies. Below, you’ll find a full overview of the entire arsenal and key loadout details available at launch.

Weapon Variety at Launch

At launch, you’ll have access to a total of 30 weapons: 23 primary weapons, 5 secondary weapons, and 2 melee options. All weapons can be unlocked through progression and customized in the Gunsmith.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 – Primary Weapons

  • Six Assault Rifles: Well-balanced and reliable, these all-rounders combine precision, damage, and range. Classics like the AK-27 and M15 MOD 0 are available early on, while advanced rifles like the MXR-17 and Peacekeeper MK1 unlock later.
  • Six Submachine Guns: Perfect for aggressive players. The base model Ryden 45K offers great control, while the Carbon 57 stands out with a large magazine. For sheer fire rate, go for the Razor 9mm—just beware of the recoil.
  • Three Shotguns: For close-quarters combat, weapons like the M10 Breacher or Akita are your go-tos. The Akita is even fully automatic, packing a heavy punch at short range.
  • Two Light Machine Guns: Ideal for defenders and suppressive fire. The MK.78 carries massive ammo reserves, while the lighter XM325 allows for faster bursts.
  • Three DMRs: Great for medium-range accuracy, offering a solid balance between damage and control. A standout choice is the M8A1, featuring a 4-round burst mode.
  • Three Sniper Rifles: Precision for the patient. The VS Recon delivers straightforward accuracy, the Shadow SK offers semi-auto flexibility, and the XR-3 Ion fires unique 3-round bursts.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 – Secondary Weapons

When your primary runs dry, your secondaries step in.

  • Three Pistols: The Jäger 45 is a reliable all-round sidearm—lightweight, fast, and dependable. For something spicier, try the CODA 9, a fully automatic pistol with a rapid fire rate.
  • Two Launchers: For vehicles and streaks, use the AAROW 109 with target lock-on or the A.R.C. M1, which fires an energy beam capable of piercing walls.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 – Melee Weapons

For those who like to get up close and personal: the combat knife is standard issue, while the Flatline MK.II unlocks at player level 49 as a powerful bonus weapon.

Gunsmith & Firing Range

The fan-favorite Gunsmith returns with four key stats: Firepower, Precision, Mobility, and Handling. Each can be tweaked using unlocked attachments—barrels, lasers, fire mods, and more. You can also earn Prestige attachments and exclusive weapon camos.

At the new firing range, you can test weapons, recoil patterns, and attachment builds in real time—with detailed stats for accuracy, aim-down-sight time, and damage output.

Equipment: Tactical, Lethal & Field Upgrades

Black Ops 7 once again gives players plenty of room to experiment with loadouts and tactical gear.

Tactical Equipment

From stun and EMP grenades to sensor and psychotropic variants, there’s something for every situation. A standout is the Hunter Drone, a small bot that hunts down and disables enemy devices.

Lethal Equipment

Classics like the frag grenade, C4, and Molotov are available from the start. For a more technical approach, use the Sentry Turret to apply pressure and control key areas.

Field Upgrades

Here you’ll find powerful support tools like Trophy Systems, Active Camo, and the Echo Unit—a holographic decoy designed to distract enemies.

Perks & Wildcards

The 22 multiplayer perks are split into three categories: Enforcer, Intel, and Strategist.

  • Enforcers improve mobility, sprint, and melee capabilities.
  • Intel perks enhance stealth and awareness (e.g. Ninja, Ghost, Tracker).
  • Strategists offer better gear handling, faster regen, or resistance to flash effects.

Wildcards expand your customization options even further—unlock extra Scorestreak slots (High Roller), more perk options (Extra Greed), or additional equipment loadouts.
