As the protagonist Naoe, you can engage in multiple romantic relationships. While these romances do not directly affect gameplay, they add a more personal layer to the story. Here’s an overview of all available romances and when you can unlock them.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Naoe’s Romance Options Explained
To start a romance, look for dialogue options marked with a heart icon during conversations. Each character requires a different number of romance points, which you earn by choosing these flirt options. After completing a romance, you’ll find small keepsakes from your relationships displayed in your hideout bedroom.
Romancing Koshiro
To romance the honorable ronin, you’ll need to flirt actively – at least four positive dialogue options are required. Afterward, his gifted hairpin will decorate your room.

Romancing Gennojo
The charming thief can be romanced by choosing at least three romantic dialogue options. As a symbol of your bond, his smoke bombs will later appear in your bedroom.
