In just a few days, Anno 117: Pax Romana, the latest entry in Ubisoft’s long-running city-building series, will be released. Set in the Roman Empire during the Pax Romana era, the game offers a fresh setting built on familiar mechanics. Here’s everything you need to know about download times, preload availability, and PC requirements.
Download times – When does Anno 117: Pax Romana launch?
Anno 117: Pax Romana launches worldwide on November 13, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Amazon Luna. On PC, it will release simultaneously on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect. Official launch times haven’t been confirmed yet. Based on previous releases, we expect a global rollout around 5:00 PM UTC – that’s 6:00 PM Central European Time. Note: These times are still subject to change. We’ll update this article as soon as Ubisoft provides confirmation.
Unlike many other Ubisoft titles, there won’t be any Early Access or Advanced Access this time – not even for players who preordered special editions. The game will go live for everyone at the same time.
Is there a preload for Anno 117?
A preload for Anno 117 is planned across all platforms, but Ubisoft has not yet announced a specific date. Typically, preloads go live a few days before release. We’ll update this article once the official preload time is confirmed.
Storage: How big is the Anno 117 download?
Whether you plan to preload or start downloading once the game is live, make sure you have at least 117 GB of free storage space. It’s not yet clear whether there will be a Day-One patch. The Xbox and PlayStation versions are expected to be similar in size, but official details are still pending.

Anno 117: Pax Romana is designed to take full advantage of modern hardware, rendering detailed Roman cities and landscapes. Ubisoft has already released the official PC system requirements, which are significantly higher than in previous installments.

For higher graphic presets (Enthusiast or Ultra), Ubisoft recommends much more powerful hardware — from an RTX 3060 Ti up to an RTX 4080 Super, along with as much as 32 GB of RAM. If you plan to play in 4K or with ray tracing enabled, be ready to upgrade.
