Anno 117: Pax Romana has only been out for a few weeks, but Ubisoft has already revealed an extensive DLC roadmap for the game’s first post-launch year. Starting in spring 2026, you can look forward to three major expansions, cosmetic bonuses, and new gods. Here’s what the Year 1 Pass includes, when the DLCs launch, and how much they cost.

When Are the Anno 117 DLCs Coming Out?

The Year 1 Pass includes three major expansions scheduled for release throughout 2026. Ubisoft has already shared broad release windows:

  • April 2026: Promise of the Volcano
  • August 2026: The Hippodrome
  • November 2026: Awakening of the Delta

It’s a familiar model similar to Anno 1800, though under a new naming scheme: the former “Season Pass” is now the “Year Pass.” Each expansion introduces fresh gameplay mechanics along with new regions, monuments, and gods.

Promise of the Volcano (April 2026)

The first DLC takes you to Latium, home to the largest island ever featured in an Anno game. The new region is dominated by an active volcano whose eruptions can impact gameplay. You’ll also encounter the god Vulcanus, representing fire and the forge, who can help you restore and better exploit devastated areas. Several smaller islands in Latium also open up with this expansion.

The Hippodrome (August 2026)

The second DLC lets you construct a monumental structure: the Hippodrome, inspired by the Circus Maximus. Beyond the elaborate building process, you can host chariot races that reward you with prestige and new specialists. Ubisoft describes the Hippodrome as one of the most impressive monuments ever created for the Anno series.

Awakening of the Delta (November 2026)

The third and largest add-on introduces a new province inspired by ancient Egypt. The region blends arid desert landscapes with a fertile river delta. You’ll find unique population tiers, new production chains, and additional gods that influence your playstyle. There’s also a military expansion: this region allows you to recruit exclusive units. Thematically, the DLC explores the tension between local tradition and Romanization, highlighting the cultural clash between Rome’s expansion and indigenous identities.

Are There Cosmetic DLCs in Anno 117?

Alongside the major expansions, several cosmetic packs are planned. Some are already included in the Year 1 Pass, such as a new flagship skin and decorative seals for your coat of arms. Additional cosmetic DLCs may arrive throughout the year, though these likely won’t be part of the Year Pass and will need to be purchased separately. Ubisoft Connect also offers small in-game bonuses you can unlock with Ubisoft Units.

Anno 117: How Much Does the Year 1 Pass Cost?

You can purchase the Year 1 Pass separately or as part of the Anno 117 Gold Edition. The standalone pass costs €35 / $35 / £30, while buying it in the Gold Edition brings the effective price down a bit. That makes it pricier than the Anno 1800 Season Passes, which typically cost around €25.

  • Anno 117: Pax Romana Year 1 Pass: €35 / $35 / £30
  • Anno 117: Pax Romana Gold Edition (incl. Year 1 Pass): €90 / $90 / £75
