Mark your calendars: on May 27, 2026, IO Interactive, in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios and NVIDIA, is set to release the new Bond title, 007 First Light. PC players will get the added benefit of DLSS 4 support. According to IOI CTO Ulas Karademir, the collaboration with NVIDIA was a cornerstone for realizing the game’s vision on PC. The goal? Deliver a gameplay experience that truly lives up to the technical and visual standards of the Bond franchise. IOI says DLSS 4’s Multi Frame Generation will be key for smoother frame rates and snappier response times.

007 First Light: How Much Power Do You Need for Bond?

The technical ambitions here are clear: 007 First Light is aiming for high-performance systems. To play at a smooth 60 FPS in Full HD, IO Interactive recommends at least an Intel Core i5-13500 or AMD Ryzen 5 7600, an RTX 3060 Ti or AMD RX 6700 XT, 32 GB of RAM, and 12 GB of video memory. Even the minimum spec for 30 FPS at 1080p asks for 16 GB RAM and a GTX 1660 or RX 5700. Both configurations call for at least 80 GB of storage and Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.

IO Interactive is once again relying on its in-house Glacier Engine — the same tech that powered the Hitman series. For 007 First Light, the engine has been significantly upgraded to support cinematic presentation, dynamic action, and realistic environments that feel right at home in Bond’s world.

Players will step into the shoes of a 26-year-old James Bond, before he’s earned his legendary license to kill. As a young Royal Navy pilot recruited by MI6, Bond embarks on his first global mission. You get to choose your approach—whether stealth, charm, or straight-up confrontation. The game is coming not just to PC, but also to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, ROG Ally X, ROG Ally, and Nintendo Switch 2 (note: Switch 2 is getting a physical release only).
