Resident Evil Requiem

Resident Evil: Requiem is the ninth main installment in the horror series and takes you back to Raccoon City. The game combines Capcom's classic survival horror with modern action and lets you play two different characters: the new protagonist Grace and series veteran Leon S. Kennedy.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Is Resident Evil: Requiem purely a single-player game?

Yes. According to Capcom, the project was originally launched with online multiplayer ideas, but was later reoriented. The focus is now entirely on a classic story-driven single-player experience. A co-op campaign has not been confirmed.

You take on the roles of two main characters: Grace and Leon S. Kennedy. Grace represents classic survival horror with stealth, scarce resources, and limited defense options. Leon, on the other hand, embodies more action-oriented sections with more aggressive combat.

The game clearly separates two gameplay philosophies. With Grace, you can expect ink ribbons, resource management, and the new corpse and blood management system, among other things. Leon’s sections focus more on action, including a parry system and weapon maintenance.

According to current estimates, the main story should take around 10 to 16 hours to complete. A playing time of around 12 to 14 hours is often mentioned – depending on your playing style, solving puzzles, and the degree of exploration.

Resident Evil: Requiem erscheint für PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S und Nintendo Switch 2.
