In this trophy guide for Life Is Strange: Reunion, you’ll find out:
- How many trophies there are
- Why you need to plan for at least two playthroughs
- Which trophies are mutually exclusive
- What to keep in mind regarding decisions and collectibles
Life Is Strange: Reunion once again offers a wide range of trophies and achievements that demand your full attention. While the list may seem manageable at first glance, it turns out to be far more challenging. Missable collectibles, branching story decisions, and character-specific scenes make it nearly impossible to avoid at least two full playthroughs. We’ll walk you through what to expect and how to approach it efficiently.
How many trophies are there in Life Is Strange: Reunion?
PlayStation players can earn 30 trophies including Platinum. On Xbox and Steam, there are 29 achievements, as those platforms do not feature a Platinum equivalent.
The list consists of nine standard trophies and 21 hidden trophies. These hidden achievements are almost exclusively tied to story moments and specific decisions. Some unlock automatically as you progress, while others require you to choose certain dialogue options.
Why are two playthroughs necessary?
Two trophies clearly show that a single playthrough isn’t enough: “Blue Haired Girl” and “Dead Girl Walking.” These are tied to different versions of Chloe. To unlock both, you’ll need to complete the entire game once with each version.
On top of that, some trophies are mutually exclusive. “Bottled It!” and “Second Chance” cannot be earned in the same run, as one requires Chloe and the other Max to take control of a key fire scene. Plan early which choices you’ll make in each playthrough.
Hidden trophies
The 21 hidden trophies are the most demanding part of the list. Many are tied to optional interactions, specific dialogue options, or easily missed story branches.
One of the most challenging is “Super Max.” To earn it, you must save every possible character. A single wrong or missed decision can make this trophy unattainable. It’s best to focus on this one during your second playthrough, when you’re already familiar with the dialogue and can make more informed choices about who to suspect or warn about the fire.
Another easy-to-miss trophy is “Soul of a Poet” during the Open Mic Night. Skipping dialogue too quickly can cost you this achievement. Take your time here and listen carefully to the performers on stage.
Collectibles, evidence, and optional content
For a successful Platinum run, it’s best to focus your first playthrough on collectibles and optional content. This includes:
- Collectibles such as the Photo Wall, Drugstore Makeup, and All These Memories
- Evidence for “Major Gumshoe”
- Podcasts for “Podcast Overload”
- Winning Backtalk encounters for “Sass Queen”
Working through these step by step reduces the risk of having to clean up too much in your second run. Be sure to check your collectibles menu regularly to see if you’ve found everything in each area.
Dual protagonists as a trophy factor
Reunion is the first entry in the series where both Max and Chloe are fully playable. This dual-protagonist system is exactly what makes certain trophies character-specific and impossible to combine in a single playthrough.

To unlock the Platinum trophy, we recommend the following approach: In your first playthrough, focus on collectibles, optional content, and making as many “correct” decisions as possible for later rescues. The second playthrough is used to experience the alternate version of Chloe, unlock mutually exclusive story trophies, and clean up any missed moments.
