If you follow the faction questline of House Roberts in Crimson Desert, Sir Robert sends you to Fort Perwin, which has been taken over by the Blood Bandits. A mysterious red smoke rises from within, and it’s up to you to investigate it.

Preparing for the Boss Fight “Crimson Nightmare”

Once you arrive at the fortress, you’ll first need to fight your way through a large group of bandits. That’s why you shouldn’t take on this quest too early. Make sure your gear is solid. In our Crimson Desert tips guide, we show you where to find two armor sets that will carry you comfortably through the first five chapters.

Even if you’re already comfortable with the combat system, you should level Kliff to a health value above 600 and stamina around 200. A spirit value between 30 and 40 is enough to clear the camp and defeat the boss.

How to Beat the “Crimson Nightmare” in No Time

Once you reach the boss arena, you’ll face a floating red cloud of smoke. First, eliminate all bandits in the area. Stay mobile, keep your shield up, and watch for incoming attacks.

Once all bandits are down, there’s a simple trick to deal with the boss: get close and use Force Palm to build up its stagger gauge.

Each hit fills the stagger gauge. Once it’s full, the boss collapses and becomes vulnerable. Use your strongest attacks during this window. Repeat the process a few times, and the fight is yours.
