FACTS

On February 11, 2026, the free “Puppy Love” update for Disney Dreamlight Valley launches on all supported platforms. The update introduces Lady and the Tramp from the 1955 Disney classic as new in-game characters. According to developer Gameloft, the patch is expected to go live around 3 PM, though the rollout may take up to two hours.

You can unlock the two new characters through their own realm in the Dream Castle. There, you must first rescue them from dog catchers and then complete two quests before placing their house in the Valley. As with other characters, their friendship quests promise additional rewards in the form of items and clothing.

Continuation of the Memento Quest

Especially good news for long-time players: the Memento questline is finally continuing. Those who have completed the friendship quests for Jasmine, Alice, Cogsworth, and Cinderella were previously able to collect four items – including Jasmine’s secret diary and Alice’s kaleidoscope – which will now finally serve a purpose.

Starting with the update release, new secrets will also appear in the game world on three different days: On February 11, a “spaghetti tumbleweed” will appear in the Dream Castle; on February 18, three characters will need help dealing with giant meatballs; and on February 25, magical tomatoes will show up “in a fishy place.”

Additional new features include:

  • A new Star Path featuring items inspired by the early 20th century
  • Three events: Valentine’s Day Celebration (February 11–25), “Lucky You!” in March, and “Eggstravaganza” for Easter
  • Improvements to build mode, allowing multiple objects to be selected and moved at the same time
  • Various bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements
