Developer Gameloft has confirmed that the cozy life-sim will receive a wave of new content, characters, and expansions throughout 2025 and 2026. During a major showcase in October 2025, the studio unveiled a lineup of upcoming updates that promise to bring fresh life to the magical valley. Here’s everything you need to know.
New Content in the Second Half of 2025
Following the major Peter Pan update, Gameloft released a detailed roadmap revealing both free and paid content arriving through the end of 2025. The second half of 2025 already included several large free updates, such as Joy & Sadness in August and Lumière & Cogsworth in October. Another beloved character will join the valley before the year ends:
- December 2025 – Cinderella: Just in time for the holidays, Cinderella arrives in Dreamlight Valley. Her update includes new quests revolving around her glass slipper and an expanded fairytale environment.
The New Paid Expansion: Wishblossom Ranch
Launching on November 19, 2025, Wishblossom Ranch will be the third major expansion and is offered as a premium DLC. It includes:
- Snow White, bringing timeless Disney charm,
- Tinker Bell, lighting up the valley with her playful energy, and
- Horses, finally introduced as rideable companions or friends.
This expansion is designed to make the valley feel more alive and expansive – a dream come true for anyone who’s been waiting for animal companions.
Looking Ahead: The 2026 Roadmap
Gameloft has also shared early teasers for the 2026 roadmap during the showcase stream. Three major hints suggest which Disney worlds will open their doors next.
- Early 2026: Lady and the Tramp – The romantic classic seems to be coming to Dreamlight Valley. A teaser image featuring a bowl of spaghetti leaves little doubt that the iconic canine couple will soon arrive.
- Spring 2026: Pocahontas – Nature and spirituality enter the valley with Pocahontas. A teaser shows a compass and colorful leaves, symbolizing her deep bond with wind, earth, and nature.
- Summer 2026: Hercules – The third franchise teased is Hercules. While the teaser doesn’t show the hero himself, a statue of trainer Phil and a pair of mysterious sandals make it clear that this legendary figure is on his way.
It remains to be seen whether Gameloft will once again mix main and supporting characters in these updates. Fans are already speculating about potential side quests and new locations – such as Olympus, the Colosseum, or Pocahontas’ homeland as a new map area.
