In Ghost of Yotei, Atsu doesn’t just fight with her sword, she also plays the shamisen. The traditional songs you learn throughout the game are more than atmospheric background music – they have practical uses and lead you to important locations on the map. In this guide, you’ll find all Shamisen Songs including location and effect.

Ghost of Yotei: Why Shamisen Songs matter

Once you play a song (swipe left on the touchpad), you activate the Guiding Wind. Depending on the song, it points you toward specific collectibles or activities. Collecting all eight songs also unlocks the trophy “Like Mother, Like Daughter.”
