In Borderlands 4, there’s plenty to explore – including hidden vaults that can only be unlocked with special keys. Each vault requires three fragments scattered across the larger outdoor zones. Once you’ve collected them, you’ll gain access to the vault, face waves of enemies, and earn both glider buffs and increased chances for legendary loot. To save you the hassle of searching, we’ve compiled all Vault Key fragment locations in the Fadefields for you.

How many Vault Key fragments are there in Borderlands 4?

There are a total of nine fragments in the game. You’ll always need three per region to craft a key and unlock a vault. That gives you access to three hidden vaults in total. Whenever you’re close to a fragment, a small radar appears on the right side of the screen. When the bars are full, you’re right on top of it.
