The Movie Review is the final collectible needed to unlock the UFO ending in Silent Hill f. We’ll show you the exact location in Ebisugaoka.
The UFO ending is a staple of the Silent Hill franchise – but before you can see it, you’ll need to complete several steps: listen to the radios, activate three mysterious movie posters, and finally locate the hidden Movie Review in Ebisugaoka. This last collectible triggers the bizarre alien sequence and also grants you an achievement. In this guide, we’ll explain exactly how to reach the crucial location and what to expect once you get there.
Requirements for the Movie Review
Before venturing into the monster nest, make sure that:
- You’ve already finished the game once (New Game+ is required),
- all radios have been activated,
- and you’ve viewed the three movie posters in the correct order.
Only if these conditions are met will the Movie Review unlock the final step toward the UFO ending. Without the posters and radios, nothing will happen at the decisive spot.
Path to the Movie Review
Once the three posters are done, head back into the familiar streets of Ebisugaoka. Take the narrow alleyway that leads back to the main street. Keep your ears open – an odd electronic beeping sound is your only clue.
Follow the sound, even though it draws you deeper into a monster-filled area. You don’t need to fight them – just dodge and run past. Your goal is close by.
Location of the Movie Review in Ebisugaoka
On the left side of the street, you’ll come across a row of buildings with several shops. In front of one of them stands a UFO-like object that immediately catches your eye. Right in front of it lies the newspaper clipping you’re looking for: the Movie Review. Reading it will trigger the ending.

Once you pick up the text, you’re done: the UFO ending is triggered, complete with its quirky cutscene and the achievement “The Great Invasion from Space!”
- Note: You’ll also find every trophy listed in our Silent Hill f Trophy Guide.
Reward and Closing
With the Movie Review collected, you’ve completed the scavenger hunt. The UFO ending isn’t counted among Silent Hill f’s “official” main endings, but it’s a treat for fans who love the series’ absurd humor. Thanks to the autosave right before it, you can rewatch the finale anytime without having to repeat the entire process.
