The Signal Receiver is located on the roof of the Cedarbrook Apartments. However, reaching it is anything but easy. From a distance, you can already spot a blinking red light on the rooftop. After collecting the Distributor, you may have already seen this light through binoculars. That\u2019s exactly where one of the required detonator parts is located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you can reach the receiver, you\u2019ll need to <strong>fight your way through the building<\/strong> and clear the path to the rooftop. Several challenges await you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Find access to the building<br>\u2022 Obtain the missing crank<br>\u2022 Defeat armored military zombies<br>\u2022 Eliminate mortar operators on the rooftop<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure you\u2019re well prepared. Near a container with fallen soldiers, you\u2019ll find an open door leading directly into the ground floor of the Cedarbrook Apartments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside, take a moment to search the area. Behind the stairs, you\u2019ll find a green herb and a large crate with ammo. Under the stairs on the right, a short corridor leads to a locked door. Open it to unlock a shortcut back to the camp area. Then return and <strong>head upstairs to the first floor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-find-the-missing-crank\">Find the missing crank<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the first floor, you\u2019ll reach a balcony. To the right, <strong>a locked gate<\/strong> blocks your path because a crank is missing. These enemies are tougher than regular undead and may carry weapons or grenades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Aim for the head<br>\u2022 Keep your distance from armed enemies<br>\u2022 Avoid getting surrounded<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then drop down <strong>one level inside the building<\/strong>. You\u2019ll find a door with a crank attached. Open it to obtain the <strong>Rusty Crank<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Return to the balcony and use <strong>the crank on the locked gate<\/strong>. This opens the way forward. Behind it, a ladder leads to the rooftops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-prepare-for-the-rooftop-fight\">Prepare for the rooftop fight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the lower rooftops, you\u2019ll encounter a few zombies and find resources like crates and ammo cases. Use this time to prepare. You\u2019ll also see a glass roof with a hanging case. Wait for the shot, then use the short window afterward to land precise hits. Timing is key here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-more-mortar-enemies-on-the-rooftops\">More mortar enemies on the rooftops<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As you continue, another mortar operator will attack from a distance.
