The popular ghost-hunting game Phasmophobia is once again celebrating Halloween with the \u201cCrimson Eye\u201d event. Developer Kinetic Games promises chilling surprises, boosted rewards, and new challenges under the Blood Moon.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

FACTS<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The annual Halloween event \u201cThe Crimson Eye\u201d returns to Phasmophobia from October 9 to 31<\/strong>. Developer Kinetic Games has announced new challenges, rewards, and boosts across all platforms – PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, PS VR2, and Xbox Series X|S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of the event lies the Blood Moon Weather System, which rotates daily across maps such as Tanglewood Drive, Camp Woodwind, and Grafton Farmhouse. This weather condition increases ghost speed and sanity drain, but also raises the payout for successful investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Players can earn both community and personal rewards, including the Child of the Cult ID Card<\/strong>, an exclusive badge, the Blood Moon Trophy<\/strong>, an animated ID Card, and trophy upgrades. Additionally, all investigations completed under the Blood Moon will grant a 10% bonus reward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phasmophobia launched on consoles last Halloween<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The popular horror game Phasmophobia, where players take on the role of ghost hunters investigating paranormal activity, was first released on PC on September 4, 2020. Last year, on October 29, 2024 – right in time for Halloween – the game finally arrived on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PS VR2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside its console debut, the 2024 \u201cCrimson Eye\u201d Halloween event also introduced the Blood Moon. By completing in-game objectives, players could unlock the Blood Moon as a permanent feature, along with a badge and trophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
