When does Borderlands 4 release?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Borderlands 4 launches on September 12, 2025<\/strong> for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Nintendo fans will have to wait a little longer \u2013 the Nintendo Switch 2 version drops on October 3, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The release was originally planned for September 23, 2025, but was pushed forward by nearly two weeks during the April 30, 2025 State of Play showcase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will Borderlands 4 have a preload?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Borderlands 4 will be available for download starting September 10, just in time for the official launch on September 11 for PC and September 12 on consoles.
