What to Expect in Spell Siege

Spell Siege is built around one of VR’s core ideas: magic is created through real movements rather than simple inputs. You wield a wand and freely draw symbols in the air to trigger elemental spells. This form of gesture casting means your hand movements directly determine which effect is created.

In the game, you defend the kingdom of Souspire against attacks from an ancient dragon named Saffrax and his creatures. It uses a wave-defense setup: enemies attack in waves that grow more demanding with each round. Your foes include corrupted mushroom creatures, heavily armored bears, slime-like enemies, and magic-wielding dragons.

You’ll be supported by Enzo, a fox with magical abilities who accompanies you throughout the adventure. Together, you protect so-called Sou Orbs—important artifacts meant to preserve the balance of the game world.

Between battles, you retreat to a floating island. There, you unlock new abilities, craft runes, and customize your playstyle. This progression system helps you gradually prepare for tougher fights.

At launch, the Early Access version includes eight handcrafted levels, featuring varied environments such as forests, icy mountains, and lava-scarred fortresses. There is also an endless mode, plus optional challenges that let you replay levels under special conditions.

Over time, the game is set to keep growing. Additional content and story elements are planned, expanding and concluding the conflict surrounding Souspire.
