Hasbro, in collaboration with Disney Consumer Products, has unveiled a new Grogu figure that uses animatronics and is built at a 1:1 scale. And for collectors, fans, and cosplayers: you can already pre-order the model now.

Star Wars Ultimate Grogu features more than 250 animations

Grogu is packed with motors, sensors, and microphones that enable a wide range of responses. Across three different operating modes, it can perform more than 250 animations and sound effects. These include gestures like waving, laughing, or gently waddling forward.

Adam Biehl, head of Disney Action Brands at Hasbro, said in a statement that the team closely studied how the character appears in “The Mandalorian.” The goal was to match its behavior and expressions as closely as possible to the Lucasfilm original.

Two versions with different release dates

Visually, the model also follows the designs from the series and films. Hasbro highlights a softly detailed facial surface, embedded hair, and fabric clothing. Details like chain mail, a shoulder bag, and Beskar armor draw from “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” which is set to hit theaters in May.

There are two versions available for pre-order. According to Hasbro, a standard version will ship at the end of March 2027. A limited “Collector’s Edition,” which includes special packaging and a collector’s card, is already sold out. Orders are available through Hasbro Pulse, Amazon, and select retailers.
