In Silent Hill: Townfall, you’ll need to piece together clues, investigate radio signals, open locked rooms, and find and use items correctly. Some puzzles span multiple locations and require you to properly interpret notes, emails, and other clues. To keep you from eventually hurling your controller across the room in frustration, this overview brings together my walkthroughs and guides for all the puzzles in Silent Hill: Townfall.

Silent Hill: Townfall – Chapter 1 Walkthrough: Arrival

In the first chapter, Silent Hill: Townfall introduces you to St. Amelia and some of its most important gameplay mechanics. The Cold Open already requires you to combine several clues inside a hotel room to move forward. Shortly afterward, the search for Zoe Ellis begins.

Among other places, you’ll explore:

  • Zoe’s house
  • the newsstand
  • the medical center
  • the pharmacy
  • Jess’ house

The CRTV becomes especially important for the first time, allowing you to pick up radio signals and reveal additional clues. Some of the chapter’s bigger tasks include restoring power to Zoe’s house, opening an organ transport box, and solving several puzzles in the medical center and pharmacy. Toward the end of the chapter, you’ll also need to figure out which items belong on the three scales in Zoe Ellis’ office.

Silent Hill: Townfall – Chapter 2 Walkthrough: Zoe

Chapter 2 follows Zoe as she makes her rounds. One of the first major locations is the community gardens. There, you’ll need to open a locked garden shed before finding a way through the area.

Later, the focus shifts more heavily toward stealth. Inside Mr. Stewart’s house, you can’t simply rely on open combat. Instead, you need to watch his movements, use hiding spots, and create noise to deliberately lure him away from your path.

Silent Hill: Townfall – Chapter 3 Walkthrough: The Patient

Chapter 3 ramps up the puzzle difficulty considerably. You initially find yourself in an operating room, where you need to treat a patient under the guidance of Dr. Glenn.

The room is filled with medical devices displaying different readings, and you need to determine which ones actually belong to the patient. After that, you’ll perform several medical examinations, set up the X-ray machine, find medications, and carry out an intubation.

In the “Many Into One” section, you need to explore different wards and match several blood bags to specific patients. At times, you’ll be pursued by an enemy you can’t simply take down. Distractions and a cautious approach are therefore especially important.

The section concludes with one of the chapter’s most elaborate puzzles: You need to analyze medical records, match blood bags to the correct patients, and finally prepare the appropriate blood transfusion.

Silent Hill: Townfall – Chapter 4 Walkthrough: Clara Woods

Chapter 4 sends you on an extensive search for several mechanical parts. Your starting point is the CEG employee lockers. Using different barcode cards, you can figure out which lockers you need and how to open them. Before you can do that, however, you’ll first have to search several apartments across St. Amelia.

At 5 South Brae, you need to repair an old floppy disk; at 6 North Brae, a picture puzzle awaits; and at 5 Upper Brae, a few cassette tapes send you through space and time. Once you’ve found all the mechanical parts, you can finally open the strange lock on Atlas Way and reach CEG headquarters. There, you need to gain access to the security area and solve the puzzle involving the numbered briefcases.

Silent Hill: Townfall – Chapter 5 Walkthrough: Richard

Chapter 5 brings another change in perspective. You’ll need to gain access to CEG Headquarters and then explore the building. Along the way, you’ll come across a broken projector that kicks off the chapter’s main puzzle sequence.
