In Silent Hill: Townfall, you’ll repeatedly need to open combination locks, lockers, briefcases, and secured doors. This guide lists all the important codes and shows you where to find the corresponding clues.
Many of the number codes in Silent Hill: Townfall can only be figured out by piecing together several clues scattered throughout the environment. If you want to skip the search or are stuck on a particular lock, you’ll find all the relevant combinations discovered so far at a glance below.

Hotel Bathroom Door
The full combination is: January 18, 1996
Right in the cold open, you’ll find yourself standing in front of a locked bathroom door. On the dial, you need to set the day, month, and year.
You’ll find the clues around the hotel room:
- The hotel card on the desk reveals the year 1996.
- The CRTV reveals the number 18.
- A calendar has January marked.

Organ Transport Box in Zoe’s House
The code is: 956 (left) 133 (right)
After restoring power in Zoe’s house, you can read the emails on her computer. One message explains that the organ transport box can be opened using the first and last three digits of the ET number. You’ll find the organ transplant card in front of the shower in the upstairs bathroom.
Reception Desk at the Medical Center
Enter: 2896
In Zoe Ellis’ office, there’s a sticky note on the monitor with the code for the locked reception area. Once inside the reception area, you can read a note and listen to the answering machine, among other things.
Locker in the Pharmacy
The combination you need is: 6531
To open the locker in the pharmacy, you need to combine four clues found around the area. The individual digits come from a poster in the restroom, a poster by the window, the clock, and an antibiotics poster.

Garden Shed
In the community gardens, you’ll find a locked shed labeled “Jane’s Garden”. Look for the garden bed with the memorial plaque for Jane Chalmers. The year shown on the plaque is also the code for the shed: 1993. Inside, you’ll find the key to the community gardens, among other items.

Medical Centre Security Phone
Read the Medical Security Note outside the Medical Centre, then use the nearby phone booth and dial 496 0556. Select 3 → 2 → 2 → 1 when prompted to open the way into the Medical Centre.
All Codes in Chapter 3
Dr. Glenn’s Pager
The correct number is: 7103
While treating the patient, you’ll need to contact Dr. Glenn using the pager.
Records Room in the West Wing
The door code is: 2605
The correct medication syringe is inside the locked records room on the ground floor of the West Wing. You’ll find the code upstairs in the back office opposite the treatment bays. It’s written on a note pinned to the bulletin board.
Hospital Storage
After setting up the patient’s medication, use the phone at Reception and dial 5353 to contact Hospital Storage. This gives you access to the basement, where you can find the Medical Intubation Kit.
All Codes in Chapter 4
Chapter 4 contains by far the most combination locks. You’ll frequently need to find barcode cards and scan them at the CEG reception desk to obtain the codes for specific employee lockers.
CEG Locker 75
Scan the blank keycard at the reception desk.
The code for Locker 75 is: 184
Inside, you’ll find the flare gun.
Lost and Found Locker
The Lost and Found locker is located in the office near the CEG employee lockers. You can look up the code on the computer at the reception desk.
The code is: 772
Inside the locker, you’ll find the house key for 5 South Brae.
Briefcase in 5 South Brae
The code for the briefcase is: 956
At 5 South Brae, you first need to repair a damaged floppy disk. After unpacking the software and printing the image file, you’ll see a piston compressor with a part ID on it – that ID is the code.
Inside the briefcase is the barcode card for Locker 17.
CEG Locker 17
Scan the barcode card from 5 South Brae at the CEG reception desk.
You’ll get: Locker 17 – Code 575
Inside, you’ll find the bolt cutters and one of the mechanical parts.
Briefcase in 6 North Brae
The resulting combination is: 736
Next to the briefcase, you’ll find a poem containing clues about boats, bows, and children. Count the corresponding images in the pictures around the apartment. Inside the briefcase is the barcode card for Locker 204.
CEG Locker 204
The code is: 971
Scan the barcode card from 6 North Brae. Inside Locker 204, you’ll find the next mechanical part.
Briefcase in 5 Upper Brae
The code is: 129
The puzzle at 5 Upper Brae revolves around the tapes “Today”, “Yesterday”, and “Tomorrow”. Playing them in the cassette recorder lets you travel back and forth through time. By examining the house in its different states, you’ll eventually find a “code before” and a “code after.” You can then use the ammonite floppy disk to determine the current value. Inside the briefcase is the barcode card for Upper Brae.
CEG Locker 94
Scan the barcode card from 5 Upper Brae at the CEG reception desk.
The device displays: Locker 94 – Code 490
Inside, you’ll find the final mechanical part for the strange lock.
Security Door at CEG Headquarters
In the Maintenance room at CEG headquarters, you’ll find a 4 and several directional arrows drawn on the whiteboard. The drawing shows a path across the security door keypad.
Following the directions starting from 4 gives you: 4895
This gives you access to the Security area.
Richard’s Briefcase No. 36
The correct code is: 486
In the main hall of CEG headquarters, you’ll find numerous numbered briefcases sitting on chairs. Open the wrong one and you’ll take damage.
To identify the correct briefcase, you need:
- the partially redacted list of names on the lectern
- both halves of the code grid
- the position of the correct briefcase
The list allows you to match Richard with briefcase number 36. Briefcase 36 is located in the third row from the front, on the third chair from the right. Transfer that position to the completed code grid.
Richard’s Employee ID
Inside Briefcase 36, you’ll find Richard’s personnel file.
It contains his employee ID: 00007820518
Enter it on the computer on the left in the Security office. This allows you to create an elevator access card and continue through CEG headquarters.
All Codes in Chapter 5
Locker Outside
The locker code is: 147
First, activate the generator outside CEG Headquarters. Then return to the Visitors / Employee Sign In building and use the now-working computer. Open the DONTREAD.DOC file. Inside, you’ll find the three-digit code 147 for the locker. There’s a First Aid Kit inside. Make sure to open the locker before taking the construction elevator up to the scaffolding.
Public Relations Records
The door code is: 1607
Once you have the Access Card – Level 3/4 from the Boardroom on the 5th Floor, you can enter the Public Relations area on the 3rd Floor.
Head to the room in the southeast corner. Next to a body on the floor, you’ll find Richard’s Note. It contains the codes for three locked storage rooms at CEG Headquarters. For Public Relations Records on the 3rd Floor, enter: 1607. The room is located in the central section of Public Relations and contains a few supplies.
Finance
The code for Finance is: 2709
You’ll find the clue on the 4th Floor in the Media Department. In the western room, pick up the CEG Storeroom Key next to a body and use it to unlock the storeroom on the opposite side. Inside the cabinet labeled “General Storage,” you’ll find the Projector Bulb and a document. The document contains the code for Finance: 2709.
Return to the 3rd Floor. First, use the Access Card – Level 3/4 on the card reader outside Finance, then enter 2709 on the keypad. Inside Finance, you’ll find the Projector Lens in a desk drawer in the CFO’s office. You can find the full projector puzzle walkthrough in my Silent Hill Townfall Chapter 5 “Richard” Walkthrough.
Storage – 2nd Floor
The code is: 1306
This combination is also listed on Richard’s Note, which you’ll find next to a body in the southeastern room of Public Relations on the 3rd Floor. After repairing the projector in the Boardroom, you’ll receive the CEG Maintenance Key. Use it to open the Maintenance area and follow the stairwell down to the 2nd Floor.
In Operations, you’ll find a storage room in the northeast section. Enter 1306 to open it and collect some additional supplies.
Storeroom – 1st Floor
The code is: 4512
This combination also comes from Richard’s Note in the Public Relations area on the 3rd Floor. Continue down the Maintenance stairwell until you reach the 1st Floor. In the southeastern section of Administration, you’ll find the locked storeroom. Enter 4512 on the keypad. You’ll find more supplies inside.
