The standard yearly prices are currently $79.99 for Essential, $134.99 for Extra, and $159.99 for Premium. During promotions like Days of Play, Sony often offers discounted pricing, especially for new subscribers or users upgrading their memberships. Monthly and quarterly payment plans are also available, but they end up costing more over the course of a year compared to annual subscriptions.
PlayStation Plus: How Flexible Are the Subscriptions?
You can cancel a PS Plus subscription at any time through your PSN account. Once your subscription ends, you lose access to monthly free games and the game catalog until you subscribe again. Purchased games remain fully accessible.

Locally stored save files remain available even after cancellation. However, if you rely entirely on cloud saves, keep in mind that cloud access is only available with an active subscription.
