Through mid-October, AION 2 is handing out rewards for watching on Twitch, including Odyle Energy, Kina, and cosmetic items. Here’s what you can earn during both phases, how to link the correct account, and where your rewards show up in the game.

In this guide, you’ll learn:

  • which Twitch Drops are available in AION 2 and how long you need to watch
  • which rewards are the most useful
  • which account you need to link to Twitch
  • how to claim your Drops and where they appear in the game
  • what to check if a Drop doesn’t arrive

Note: This guide is current as of October 8, 2026. I collected and claimed the Drops myself.

What Twitch Drops Are Available in AION 2?

NC is running the Drops in two phases: the first ran during Advanced Access from September 30 through October 4, and the second has been running since the global launch, from October 5 through October 16. Don’t miss the deadline afterwards: you need to claim your Drops from your Twitch inventory by Friday, October 30, 11:59 PM PDT (Saturday, October 31, 7:59 AM CET), or they expire.

You don’t need to watch a specific channel. According to NC, any channel streaming AION 2 with Drops enabled counts. However, you can only make progress in one stream at a time.

The Phase 2 rewards come from NC’s announcement. Despite the name “Skin Chest x10,” NC lists the reward as a single chest. Almost all rewards are bound, so you can’t trade them.

Which AION 2 Drops Are Most Useful?

For me, Odyle Energy and Kina are the most useful rewards. You need Odyle Energy to claim rewards from dungeons such as Expeditions and Transcendence, while Kina is used for almost everything, from upgrading gear to dismantling old equipment. Enhance Stones and the Soul Codex come next. The latter increases the binding progress of soulbound gear. Cosmetic items only change your character’s appearance.

Before you can make progress toward a Drop, your game account needs to be linked to Twitch. Make sure you link the correct account: If you play through Steam, link your Steam account. If you use NC’s PURPLE launcher, link your NC account. According to NC, linking the wrong account can prevent your Drops from arriving. You can start the process on the official AION 2 Twitch Drops page.

I play through Steam, so I linked my Steam account. It worked without any issues for me. You can check whether everything is set up correctly on Twitch under “Drops & Rewards” in the AION 2 campaign. Under “Connection,” it should show “Connected.”

Important: If your Drops don’t arrive, don’t link your account again through the NC website. According to NC, doing so can break the existing connection and, in the worst case, prevent you from accessing your character.

How to Claim Twitch Drops in AION 2

Watch a channel streaming AION 2 with Drops enabled. You can track your progress in your Twitch Drops Inventory. Once a reward reaches 100 percent, you need to claim it there manually or it won’t appear in the game.

I collected most of my Drops in my own stream and otherwise watched streamers I know. If you’d like, feel free to stop by my Twitch channel: derRumble.

After you claim a Drop, a small chest icon appears next to the minimap in the upper-left corner of the screen. That’s where you collect your Drops, similar to the items from the Founder’s Packs. With the Founder’s Packs, however, pay attention to which server you claim the membership on and which character collects the chests. Since the October 7 patch, you can use the cosmetic items on all characters and servers.

AION 2 Drops Not Arriving? Here’s What to Check

  • Correct account: Steam players need to link Steam, while PURPLE players need to link their NC account.
  • Claimed: Once a reward reaches 100 percent, you still need to claim it manually in your Twitch Drops Inventory.
  • Only one stream: Watching multiple streams at the same time won’t speed up your progress.
  • Correct version: The Drops are for the global version of AION 2, not characters on the Korean or Taiwanese servers.
  • Don’t link twice: Do not link your account again through the NC website.

If none of that helps, contact AION 2 Support.

Enjoy watching, and don’t forget to claim your rewards!
