In our trophy guide to 007 First Light, you’ll learn what challenges await you in IO Interactive’s spy adventure and how to unlock the coveted Platinum Trophy.
IO Interactive’s Bond adventure 007 First Light features a total of 38 trophies, split between story-related achievements, collectible tasks, and various combat challenges. 18 of them are tied directly to story progress and unlock automatically, so you can’t miss them. There are also no difficulty-related trophies, which means you can earn every trophy on Easy without any trouble.
Some trophies can only be unlocked in TacSim mode, which requires an online connection and asks you to complete special challenges such as operations and escalations. In the guide below, we take a closer look at the different trophy types and share useful tips for every achievement.
Time Required and Difficulty
The full Platinum run is relatively easy. Since no trophies are tied to difficulty, you can complete 007 First Light in Story Mode as well. There are no multiplayer trophies either. For our first playthrough of 007 First Light on Normal, we needed 19.5 hours, though we took our time and experimented a lot. If you plan your trophy run well from the start and play on the easier Story Mode, you can reach Platinum in under 25 hours.

Collectibles: 92 Items for 100 Percent Completion
The biggest time investment is the Gold Trophy “Collector’s Rage.” To unlock it, you need to find all 92 collectibles in the game, which are divided as follows:
- 36 playing cards
- 10 postcards
- 23 MI6 files
- 14 keepsakes
- 9 legacy items
The good news: None of these collectibles are permanently missable. You can use chapter select at any time to pick up missing items. Your progress is shown in the menu. Only once every category is complete will you receive the final collectible trophy, bringing you one major step closer to Platinum.

Combat-Specific Trophies
Alongside story and collectible trophies, there are several combat-focused challenges. These include:
- “He’ll Live” – incapacitate enemies with leg shots
- “Bright Idea” – shoot an enemy while they are throwing a grenade
- “Dud” – hack a grenade before it explodes
- “Culture Shock” – make one enemy hit another with a taser
- “Soft Landing” – take down an enemy over a ledge
These trophies are all about proper timing and smart use of your gadgets, including the laser, smoke grenades, and hacking tools.
You can complete many of the combat trophies during the first major fight at the end of Chapter 3, “All the Time in the World.” The large shootout at the hangar throws dozens of enemies at you.
If you cause a commotion at the hotel beforehand, security guards will repeatedly try to take you down with tasers — the ideal opportunity to unlock the “Culture Shock” trophy.

TacSim Trophies: Simulator Mode Requires Online Play
Several Silver Trophies and one Gold Trophy are tied to TacSim mode. You unlock access to this mode the first time you speak with Dr. Tan in Q’s lab. An online connection is required for this mode.
The toughest challenge is completing the third escalation level. Enemy numbers and mission conditions ramp up significantly here. With good preparation, knowledge of the levels, and smart gadget use, however, the Gold Trophy is absolutely doable.
